MOTORIZED CATHETER SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED INFLATION CONTROL
Methods and systems for automated control of the inflation of an inflatable retention member, e.g. a balloon, in a catheter are disclosed. One catheter is preferably a rectal or anal catheter, and the inflation is controlled by a controller. A plurality of predetermined inflation levels are provided, and for each of level, a pumping time threshold and a pressure level threshold are defined. The pressure in the balloon is continuously measured during the inflation. An inflation level is selected form said plurality of inflation levels, and an electric pump is used to inflate the inflatable retention member. Operation of the electric pump is continued until one of the pumping time threshold and pressure level threshold of the selected inflation level has been reached.
Ear cleaning device
A system for cleansing a patient's ear is disclosed. The system includes a control unit, a portable applicator, and a liquid reservoir. The liquid reservoir includes a heater. The control unit includes controls for maintaining the temperature of the liquid in the reservoir within certain limits, for limiting the pressure of the liquid, and for varying the flow rate and pressure of the liquid. The portable applicator includes a hand piece, a nozzle connected to the fluid source and mounted on the hand piece, and a trigger for providing a flow control signal to the control unit.
Nasal rinse system
A method of controllably heating nasal rinsing solution inside a neti pot is provided. The method comprises the following steps: providing a nasal rinse system comprising: a neti pot having a main body forming a cavity for receiving a rinsing solution; a spout extending from a top portion of the main body; an opening defined by a top portion of the main body, wherein the opening communicates with the cavity; a lower portion of the main body incorporating a heating element electrically connected to a power source, wherein the heating element provides a thermostat for determining the heat at the heating element; and at least one indicator light that is electrically connected to the thermostat so that the at least one indicator light is activated when the said heat reaches a predetermined temperature; pouring the rinsing solution through the opening; and waiting for the at least one indicator light to by activated.
Transport carriage for flush solutions
The transport carriage for flush solutions is characterized in that the flush solution is received in a flexible flush solution bag that is arranged in a rigid container, wherein a pressurized gas can be introduced into the flush solution bag or the rigid container.
Trans Anal Irrigation Platform with Bed Module
A trans anal irrigation device that can be used on a bed. The device includes a rectal catheter connected to an irrigation fluid supply. A waste collection bag is also connected to the catheter. The catheter may be insertable in a seat attached to a fluid supply line. A valve in one of the catheter or seat selectably allows or prevents fluid communication between the catheter and a waste collection bag. The catheter may include an inflationless cuff made of a flexible material that permits it to be inserted in the rectum to prevent leakage around the exterior of the catheter.
VAGINAL DOUCHE WITH A COMPOSITION TO TIGHTEN THE VAGINA
A vaginal douche bottle with a composition of ingredients to tighten and prevention of growth of bad microorganisms in reproductive organs of human is provided. The vaginal douche bottle includes a removable cap, a middle portion, a bottom portion, and threads. The removable cap is adapted to remove from the vaginal douche bottle when a pipe adapter is required to be coupled with the vaginal douche bottle. The middle portion allows a user to hold the vaginal douche bottle. Threads are grooved on a top portion of the vaginal douche bottle to couple with a lower portion of the pipe adapter. The composition of ingredients filled in the vaginal douche bottle. When the middle portion of the vaginal douche bottle is pressed, the composition of ingredients comes out from the vaginal douche bottle through the adapter pipe and cleans the reproductive organs of the user.
SOLUTION PREPARATION DEVICE AND NASAL IRRIGATOR
Provided are a solution preparation device and a nasal irrigator. The solution preparation device includes a casing, a flow valve, an on-off valve, a top cover, a first mixer, and a second mixer. A partition is provided in the casing and divides a receiving space into a first chamber and a second chamber. The partition is provided with a mixing channel communicated with the first and second chambers, and a part of the bottom plate corresponding to the second chamber is provided with a discharge channel. The flow valve is arranged in the mixing channel, and the on-off valve is arranged in the discharge channel. Each of the first and second mixers is provided at the top cover, and extends into a respective one of the first and second chambers when the top cover is connected to the casing.
Lavage systems and devices having warming component
A system for applying a lavage fluid to a surface, the system having a body configured to house a lavage fluid, an application member in fluid communication with the body, the application member being configured to dispense the lavage fluid, and a warming component configured to communicate with the body so as to transfer energy from the warming component to the body sufficient to warm the lavage fluid housed in the body.
Nasal rinse tip
A device for nasal lavage is described. The device ejects a gentle flow of fluid under pressure. The fluid stream provides a high quantity of fluid at low pressure. The low pressure fluid stream is more comfortable for a user than a high pressure fluid stream that are delivered by various types of pressurized cans of solution.
STATUS OF AN IRRIGATION PUMP
A pump, including a compression compartment configured to receive, between first and second sides of the compartment, a flexible container holding a fluid and having an outlet; The pump also has a pump mechanism that is coupled to drive the first and second sides of the compartment together so as to force the fluid out of the container through the outlet. There are first and second electrodes the are fixed respectively to the first and second sides. The pump also includes a processor that is coupled to measure a capacitance between the first and second electrodes and to estimate, responsively to the capacitance, a volume of the fluid remaining in the container.
