Pressurized water fluid distribution
A fluid distribution system can include a water inlet configured to receive water from a supply spout. A supply line can be connected to the inlet, and an applicator tip can be connected to the supply line distal from the inlet. The applicator tip can be configured to spray water received through the supply line at the same time as the receiving of the water from the supply spout through the inlet. The system can further include a water pressurizing device that is operable to pressurize water received from the supply spout via the water inlet and supplied through the supply line to the applicator tip. The water pressurizing device can include one or more of a powered fluid pump and a source adapter. The system may include a fluid-actuated pressure clamp.
Method and apparatus for irrigation
Disclosed is an irrigation system. The irrigation system includes a manual pump and refill. The manual pump can provide pressurized liquid through a tube at an outlet.
ORAL HYDRATION SYSTEM
An oral hydration system, which includes a fluid reservoir; a supply tube fluidly coupled to the reservoir at its distal end; and a mouthpiece pump molded as a single piece utilizing one pliable material and deformable along its entire length, wherein the mouthpiece pump is fluidly coupled at its distal end to a proximal end of the supply tube, wherein the mouthpiece pump or the supply tube comprises a one-way distal valve and the mouthpiece pump is sealed proximally with a proximal face in a form of a mouthpiece containing a proximal valve that seals until the pump is deformed by a user for the purpose of creating a priming and pumping action to draw fluid from the reservoir, through the supply tube and out of the mouthpiece pump to the user.
Fluid management system
The invention provides a fluid management system (1) for providing fluid from a fluid source (20) to the body of a patient. The fluid management system (1) includes a compressible chamber (10). A fluid conduit (30) is in fluid communication with the fluid source (20) and with an interior of the compressible chamber (10). A bypass conduit (40) has an inlet end (43) in fluid communication with the fluid source (20) and an outlet end (44) for providing fluid to a trocar (70). The bypass conduit 40 passes either through or around the compressible chamber (10). A first one way valve (80) can admit fluid from the fluid conduit (30) into the interior of the compressible chamber (10). A second one way valve (90) can admit fluid within the interior of the compressible chamber (10) into the bypass conduit (40). A portion (46) of the bypass conduit (40) upstream of the second one way valve (90) is collapsible under the force of selectively applied external pressure when the compressible chamber (10) is at least partially filled with fluid from the fluid source (20), so as to selectively close off the bypass conduit (40) upstream of the second one way valve (90).
AN ENEMA DEVICE, AND A DELIVERY CONTAINER FOR USE IN SAID ENEMA DEVICE
The present invention relates to an enema device comprising a delivery container arranged for accommodating an enema and an applicator nozzle for dispersing the enema, and wherein the delivery container is arranged as a hand held pump and wherein a cross-section of said delivery container has the shape of an oval. Thereby is provided a simple, inexpensive and essentially maintenance free enema device which can be used for self-administrating of an enema.
Device for trans anal irrigation
A trans-anal irrigation (TAI) system adapted for self-use includes an irrigation head supplied with water from a reservoir by a pump or by gravity feed. The irrigation head has either internal or external structures for releasably retaining the head in a user's rectum during the water flow portion of a TAI process. A guide member arm may be provided for manipulating the irrigation head for both insertion and removal. The irrigation head is reliably attached to the guide member arm. The guide member arm may include an integral manual pump.
Suctioning and supply device with drive unit and connecting part
Provided is a device for suctioning bodily fluids and for supplying a fluid substance to a human or animal body, in which the device includes a drive unit (1, 1′, 1″; 2) having a drive (20), a pump head (30, 30′, 30″) which is drivable by the drive (20) and a connecting part (5, 7′, 4″) which is releasably connectable to the drive unit (1, 1′, 1″; 2) and has a tube guide (555, 710′, 43″). The tube guide (555, 710′, 43″) is realized in such a manner for receiving a tube (I) that the tube, in combination with the pump head (30, 30′, 30″), forms a peristaltic pump (3) by way of which the fluid substance is conveyable through the tube (I) to the human or animal body. The pump head (30, 30′, 30″) is incorporated in the connecting part (5, 7′, 4″), and the drive unit (1, 1′, 1″; 2) includes a coupling element (24, 24′) which is connected to the drive (20) in order to couple the pump head (30, 30′. 30″) to the drive (20).
