DEVICE FOR PREPARING AND DISPENSING ACTIVE INGREDIENT SOLUTIONS
A device for producing an active ingredient solution, preferably an antiseptic wound-irrigating solution, having: a connection element designed and configured for liquid-tight connection to a container; a mandrel designed and configured for piercing a septum of a container; a reservoir containing an active ingredient in solid form, and connectable via an outlet of the reservoir in a fluid-conducting manner to the connection element; a liquid-permeable filter arranged at the outlet of the reservoir and configured to retain the active ingredient in solid form in the reservoir; a fluidic element configured to receive a liquid from a container into the reservoir, configured to dispense a liquid from the reservoir; wherein the device is configured to receive a liquid from a container into the reservoir, to dissolve the active ingredient in the liquid, and to dispense the dissolved active ingredient to a patient via the connection element.
IRRIGATION FLUID CONTAINMENT SYSTEMS
Various irrigation fluid containment systems and components are disclosed. In some embodiments, the irrigation fluid containment system comprises a medical kit and/or an irrigation kit. In some embodiments, the irrigation fluid containment system comprises a medical basin and/or an irrigation basin. In some embodiments, the irrigation fluid containment system comprises an irrigation shield. In some embodiments, the irrigation fluid containment system comprises a suction hose.
Trans Anal Irrigation Platform with Bed Module
A trans anal irrigation device that can be used on a bed. The device includes a rectal catheter connected to an irrigation fluid supply. A waste collection bag is also connected to the catheter. The catheter may be insertable in a seat attached to a fluid supply line. A valve in one of the catheter or seat selectably allows or prevents fluid communication between the catheter and a waste collection bag. The catheter may include an inflationless cuff made of a flexible material that permits it to be inserted in the rectum to prevent leakage around the exterior of the catheter.
Limb irrigation pan device
A limb irrigation pan device collects and removes irrigation fluid and debris from a surgical field when a limb is irrigated. The device includes a frame having a pair of opposed ends and a pair of longitudinal sides extending between the opposed ends. Respective upper surfaces of each opposed end are concavely arcuate and an upper edge of the frame defines an open top of the frame. A base is coupled to the opposed ends and the longitudinal sides defining a well for collecting a fluid passed into the frame through the open top. A porous sling is coupled to the frame for passing the fluid through the sling to be collected in the well. A drain coupled to the frame is in fluid communication with the well wherein the drain drains the fluid from the well.
NASAL IRRIGATION DIAGNOSTIC ASSEMBLY
A nasal irrigation diagnostic assembly comprising an irrigation device including a fluid collection portion structured to retain a biological sample, in the form of waste solution from the nasal cavity resulting from irrigation. A detection member disposed on said irrigation device is exposed to the biological sample and is structured to determine the existence of at least one analyte within the biological sample of the waste solution. The detection member comprises a plurality of detection zones individually structured to analyze the biological sample upon engagement therewith, wherein said plurality of zones include at least a reaction zone and a detection zone, which respectively include reagents cooperatively and collectively formulated to detect the existence of the at least one analyte within biological sample of the waste solution. A control zone may also be included to indicate the intended operability of at least the detection member.
Systems and methods for nasal irrigation
Systems and methods for nasal irrigation are provided in which a nasal irrigation device includes a source of saline solution, an effluent receptacle, a nasal interface, a vacuum source, a fluid passageway to communicate the source of saline solution with the effluent receptacle through the nasal interface and a nasal cavity of a user, and a switch and valve assembly for selectively controlling the vacuum source and flow of the saline solution through the fluid passageway. The source of saline solution is disposed relative to the device to provide gravitational inducement of the saline solution to the nasal interface in engagement to the device user's nostrils. A combination of the gravitational inducement and a relative vacuum from the effluent receptacle generates a fluid flow for irrigating, cleansing and massaging the nasal cavity and ostia of the user. The entire device is assembled as a hand-held device for convenient lifting and disposal against the user's nostrils.
CLEANER
Provided is a cleaner, including a sprayer, a switching assembly, a water storage assembly, a conveying assembly, and a housing. Because the switching assembly movably connected to the housing is arranged and the sprayer is fixedly connected to the switching assembly, a position and an angle of the sprayer can be adjusted by moving the switching assembly, such that the use convenience is brought for a user, and a storage groove does not need to be formed, making the cleaner more attractive.
UTEROTUBAL IRRIGATION TECHNIQUE AND DEVICE
An uterotubal irrigation system and process for implanting hysterosalpingogram (HSG) procedures is provided. The uterotubal irrigation system serially irrigates and evacuates fluid in the uterus and into the Fallopian tubes, for the collection of cells from the Fallopian tubes. The uterotubal irrigation system has a partially flexible cannula for introduction through the cervical os into the uterine cavity. The cannula has an enlarged external plug proximal to the distal tip of the cannula, to occlude the os and permit infusion of fluid into the uterus. The cannula has an internal tube for irrigation, and an external sheath with multiple slits near the distal end of the cannula. An uterotubal irrigation system is provided that includes a catheter with two opposing outlet openings on a distal tip of the catheter that injects an irrigation fluid in two opposing jets that splay out laterally toward the openings of a patient's Fallopian tubes.
Systems and methods for nasal irrigation
Systems and methods for nasal irrigation are provided in which a nasal irrigation device includes a source of saline, an effluent receptacle, a nasal interface, a vacuum source, a fluid passageway to communicate the source of saline with the effluent receptacle through the nasal interface and a nasal cavity of the user, and a switch and valve assembly for selectively controlling the vacuum source and flow of the saline through the fluid passageway. The saline source is disposed relative to the device to provide gravitational inducement of saline to the nasal interface in engagement to the device user's nostrils. A combination of the gravitational inducement and the relative vacuum from the effluent receptacle generates a fluid flow for irrigating, cleansing and massaging the nasal cavity and ostia of the user. The entire device is assembled as a hand-held device for convenient lifting and disposal against the user's nostrils.
DISPOSABLE IRRIGATION BASIN FOR EXTREMITY PROCEDURES
A disposable basin for extremity procedures, irrigation and lavage in the operating room, treatment clinic or ward allows the extremity to rest comfortably, safely, and securely inside the basin, allowing the surgeon, physician, clinician, and or provider ease of access within a contained protective barrier. Contaminated fluid safely and efficiently drains into an integrated suction trough via the intrinsic design of the basin, resulting in decreased exposure to pathogens, containment of contamination, ease of execution and disposal, and cost savings.
