TAPE CARRIER ASSEMBLIES HAVING AN INTEGRATED ADHESIVE FILM
Introduced here are carrier tape assemblies that can improve efficiency and reduce costs when utilized in the handling, transport, or storage of semiconductor components. A carrier tape assembly can include an adhesive film affixed to an elongated and/or extruded carrier tape. For example, the adhesive film may be integrally laminated onto the top surface of the elongate carrier tape as a single continuous (i.e., unbroken) sheet. The adhesive film may substantially conform to the top surface of the elongate carrier tape, including any punched cavities for holding semiconductor components. Proper securement of the semiconductor components to the carrier tape assembly depends on the adhesive property of the constituent material(s) of the adhesive film.
DICING DIE ATTACH FILM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME, AND SEMICONDUCTOR PACKAGE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A dicing die attach film containing a dicing film and a die attach film stacked on the dicing film, wherein the die attach film contains an organic solvent having a boiling point of 100° C. or more and less than 150° C. and a vapor pressure of 50 mmHg or less, and wherein an amount of the organic solvent in the die attach film satisfies the following (a):
(a) when 1.0 g of the die attach film is immersed in 10.0 mL of acetone at 4° C. for 24 hours, an amount of the organic solvent extracted into the acetone is 800 μg or less.
Impedance controlled electrical interconnection employing meta-materials
A method of improving electrical interconnections between two electrical elements is made available by providing a meta-material overlay in conjunction with the electrical interconnection. The meta-material overlay is designed to make the electrical signal propagating via the electrical interconnection to act as though the permittivity and permeability of the dielectric medium within which the electrical interconnection is formed are different than the real component permittivity and permeability of the dielectric medium surrounding the electrical interconnection. In some instances the permittivity and permeability resulting from the meta-material cause the signal to propagate as if the permittivity and permeability have negative values. Accordingly the method provides for electrical interconnections possessing enhanced control and stability of impedance, reduced noise, and reduced loss. Alternative embodiments of the meta-material overlay provide, the enhancements for conventional discrete wire bonds whilst also facilitating single integrated designs compatible with tape implementation.
Moisture-resistant electronic component, notably microwave, and method for packaging such a component
A component comprises at least one support on which is fixed at least one electronic circuit, for example a circuit of MMIC type, one or more layers of organic materials stacked on the support according to a technique of printed circuit type and forming a pre-existing cavity containing the electronic circuit, the cavity being filled with a material of low permeability to water vapor such as LCP.
Array substrate, display panel and display device
Provided are an array substrate, a display panel and a display device. The array substrate includes a display region and a peripheral region. The peripheral region includes a chip-on-film bonding region, and the peripheral region has a recessed structure configured to fill a bonding material. The recessed structure is between the chip-on-film bonding region and a lateral side of the array substrate. The chip-on-film bonding region is between the display region and the lateral side. By disposing a recessed structure configured to fill the bonding material in the peripheral region, a gap is difficult to occur between the chip-on-film in the chip-on-film bonding region and the array substrate, preventing entry of water vapor to cause corrosion of lead wires and short circuits of lead wires. The defect ratio of the array substrate, the display panel, and the display device is reduced, and the product quality is improved.
TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A device for transmission of at least one high-frequency signal includes at least one first electrically-conductive track formed inside and/or on top of a flexible substrate.
Bonding and indexing apparatus
A bonding and indexing apparatus has a first index head to move a substrate in an indexing direction from a first position to a second position and a second index head to move the substrate in an indexing direction from the second position to a third position. The first and/or second index head has a bonding element to effect a bonding process between the substrate and an element disposed against the substrate so that bonding and movement in the indexing direction is implemented simultaneously by the first index head and/or bonding and movement in the indexing direction is implemented simultaneously by the second index head.

DISPLAY DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
To provide a display device that is suitable for increasing in size, a display device in which display unevenness is suppressed, or a display device that can display an image along a curved surface. The display device includes a first display panel and a second display panel each including a pair of substrates. The first display panel and the second display panel each include a first region which can transmit visible light, a second region which can block visible light, and a third region which can perform display. The third region of the first display panel and the first region of the second display panel overlap each other. The third region of the first display panel and the second region of the second display panel do not overlap each other.
FLEXIBLE INTERPOSER
The present invention provides for an interposer subassembly that is suitable for an electronic system having at least one integrated circuit (1C) component. The interposer subassembly comprises a flexible base layer, having a first surface and an opposing second surface, at least one active electronic circuit component, operatively integrated within said flexible base layer, and at least one first patterned contact layer, provided on any one of said first surface and said second surface of said flexible base layer and which is configured to operably interface with said at least one active electronic circuit component and the at least one 1C component.
