INFUSION DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE MONITORING

The present disclosure provides systems and devices for combining analyte monitoring with fluid delivery, including devices that are adapted for use with combined sensors and cannulas having sensors and cannulas on a single component. These systems and devices may be used in various applications with simultaneous in vivo monitoring of analyte concentrations and delivery of medications.

Interlocking low profile gripping device
11452845 · 2022-09-27 · ·

A low profile gripping device having a locking assembly attached to a base, wherein the locking assembly comprises a locking strap with pairs of fins disposed for insertion into an aperture of a buckle. The locking assembly comprises an offset anchor block having opposing sides, the locking strap attached to one side, and the buckle attached to the opposing side. The interface between the locking strap and the anchor block forms a groove for seating a flexible polymer tube or polymer coated cable. The groove is located above the base such that the seated tube or cable is substantially centered above the base. The locking strap is inserted through the aperture to secure the tube or cable in the groove, and the fins retain the locking strap in fixed relation to the buckle.

Tracheostoma device holder

A tracheostoma device holder for holding a tracheostoma device superimposed of a tracheostoma of a person is provided. The tracheostoma device holder includes a flexible skirt for attachment over a tracheostoma via a skin adhesive proximal side thereof, and the skirt is provided with a through hole. A tubular tracheostoma device fitting is arranged circumferentially of the through hole, and the tubular tracheostoma device fitting extends distally from the distal side of the skirt. The skirt has at least two sheets, in form of a distal end sheet comprising a skin adhesive hydrogel or hydrocolloid, and a support sheet proximally of the distal end sheet. The support sheet includes polyurethane.

Catheter securement device including extended anchor pad and release liner clasping features
11452848 · 2022-09-27 · ·

Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a securement device including a retainer defining a channel and at least one mounting wing extending therefrom. The mounting wing extends distally of an insertion site a skin surface adjacent to the insertion site to prevent “rocking” or “pistoning.” The mounting wing further includes channels of reduced thickness configured to impart malleable properties on the mounting wing. This can allow the mounting wing to be shaped to fit different portions of the patient. The retainer further includes various locking and anti-rotational features to guide the catheter into position within the retainer and further prevent “rocking” or “pistoning.” The securement device also includes a protective pad to inhibit abrasions from a medical line, spin nuts, and the like, and includes a clasping feature to retain a portion of the release liner to prevent obstructing ingress/egress of the catheter.

MEDICAL DELIVERY DEVICE AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

A medical device comprising a first tube, a second tube configured to sheath at least a portion of the first tube and configured to translate along a length of the first tube, an expandable device at a distal portion of the first tube, the expandable device having a collapsed state and an expanded state, a patch surrounding at least a portion of an outer surface of the expandable device, and a connector for holding the patch to the expandable device when the second tube covers the patch and the expandable device and for releasing the patch from the expandable device after the second tube uncovers the patch and the expandable device.

Medical dressing comprising a flap

The disclosed medical dressing has a dressing body and a flap. The dressing body has a first major surface and opposite second major surface containing a skin-contact adhesive. The flap has a fixed end integrally connected to the dressing body and a movable free end. The second major surface of the flap has a securing adhesive for contact with the first major surface of the dressing body.

Offset catheter securement device

A catheter securement device adapted to be adhesively mounted to the skin of a patient to secure a catheter in place, the device having a flexible, thin, sheet-like base member with a distal edge and a midportion, and a releasable, flexible, thin, sheet-like retention member comprising a fixed end, a releasable end, a and a distal edge, wherein the distal edge of the retention member is offset from the distal edge of the base member to define an uplift focus area in the midportion of the base member, such that upward pull on the catheter is transferred to the midportion of the base member to preclude the base member from being peeled from the patient's skin.

INTEGRATED PRESSURE SENSING DEVICE

An integrated pressure sensing device is disclosed. Embodiments of the disclosed concepts provide a device that integrates hemodynamic pressure transducers or sensors into a single package. The package can be designed for precordial placement on the subject so that pressure readings are substantially accurate and appropriately calibrated without “leveling” the sensors relative to a subject's heart using a separate support, and regardless of the subject's position. A lumen set can be configured to maintain a fluid column between each pressure transducer and the subject's blood stream and in some embodiments, the assembly, including all transducers, can be fed from a single fluid source such as a single IV bag.

INTERLOCKING LOW PROFILE GRIPPING DEVICE
20170319827 · 2017-11-09 ·

A low profile gripping device having a locking assembly attached to a base, wherein the locking assembly comprises a locking strap with pairs of fins disposed for insertion into an aperture of a buckle. The locking assembly comprises an anchor block having opposing sides, the locking strap attached to one side, and the buckle attached to the opposing side. The interface between the locking strap and the anchor block forms a creased groove for seating a flexible polymer tube or polymer coated cable. The locking strap is inserted through the aperture to secure the tube or cable in the creased groove, and the fins retain the locking strap in fixed relation to the buckle.

PATIENT INTERFACE

A patient interface includes a first body that rests on a first portion of a patient's face, a second body that rests on a second portion of the patient's face, and a bridge linking the first and second bodies. The patient interface includes an attachment structure that couples with a complementary fixation structure positioned on the patient's face to secure the patient interface to the patient's face. The complementary fixation structure can be configured to assist in retaining a feeding tube in position relative to the patient's face or to the patient interface.
