A pouch-type secondary battery includes an electrode assembly having a structure in which electrodes and separators are alternately disposed; and a pouch-type exterior configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, wherein the exterior includes an accommodation part defining a space accommodating the electrode assembly; and a sealing part disposed along a circumference of the accommodation part in which some areas of the exterior are attached to each other so that the accommodation part is sealed from an outside, wherein a plurality of corners are disposed on the sealing part, at least one corner of the plurality of corners includes a recess part recessed toward the electrode assembly; and a diagonal part disposed adjacent to the recess part and extending toward the recess part in a diagonal direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the exterior.
BATTERY
A battery including power generation units each including a positive electrode layer, a separator layer, and a negative electrode layer. The area of either one of the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer is larger than the area of the other one of the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. The power generation units each has a non-facing region. In the non-facing region, a first penetration portion is placed. The power generation units provided as the pair are stacked along the thickness direction via a first current collector including a second penetration portion corresponding to the first penetration portions. In the power generation units provided as the pair, two separator layers facing each other are fixed by a first fixing portion positioned in the first penetration portion and the second penetration portion.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A SOLID-STATE LITHIUM BATTERY AND A BATTERY MANUFACTURED BY THE METHOD
The propose method of manufacturing a solid-state lithium battery consists of preparing an anode coated with a solid-state electrolyte precursor and a cathode unit coated with solid-state electrolyte, both precursors containing a predetermined amount of a redundant water. The thus prepared anode unit and cathode unit are pressed to each other through their respective electrolyte precursor layers in a closed chamber at a predetermined elevated temperature and under a predetermined mechanical pressure, whereby an integral pre-final solid-state battery unit is formed. The manufacture of the battery is completed by inserting the prefinal product into a casing that leaves parts of the metal current collectors of the prefinal product exposed for use as a battery anode and a battery cathode.
ELECTRODE PLATE AND SECONDARY BATTERY
In a secondary battery including a large-sized electrode group including stacked positive and negative electrode plates, an electrode plate in which failures such as the separation and cracking of an active material layer and the abrasion and cracking of a current collector are unlikely to occur is provided. An electrode plate 21 includes a coated region CR where active material layers 21a are formed and an uncoated region NC where no active material layer is formed and has a configuration in which a boundary section between the coated region and the uncoated region is provided with a first buffer region C2 having a non-linear irregular shape in plan view.
POWER STORAGE DEVICE
An electrical double layer capacitor having electrolyte-containing layer between a first polarizable electrode layer and a second polarizable electrode layer. An insulating adhesive portion adheres to a first current collector and a second current collector which at least partially face each other with the electrolyte-containing layer interposed therebetween. The insulating adhesive portion 15 extends around the first and second polarizable electrode layers and the electrolyte-containing layer. A thickness of the electrolyte-containing layer is larger than a difference between a thickness of the insulating adhesive portion and thicknesses of the first and second polarizable electrode layers.
All solid state battery
An all solid state battery in which positional displacement of a plurality of cells arranged along a thickness direction can be prevented is provided. The all solid state battery includes a plurality of cells connected in series, wherein the all solid state battery includes a cell unit A and a cell unit B, a first current collector A in the cell A and a second current collector B in the cell B are arranged to face each other, the first current collector A includes a tab A, the second current collector B includes a tab B, and the tab A and the tab B are fixed by a fixing portion.
CONNECTING LEAD AND BATTERY
In one embodiment, a connecting lead connecting between a current collecting tab of an electrode group and an electrode terminal in a battery is provided. The connecting lead includes a top plate portion and a leg portion, a leg portion is bent relative to the top plate portion to one side in a thickness direction of the top plate portion, and a bend line at a bend position to the top plate portion is along a width direction of the top plate portion. The leg portion includes an extension portion located apart from the bend position to the top plate portion. The extension portion includes, on an outer surface, a side face relaying between a pair of main faces and facing one side in the width direction of the top plate portion. The side face is joined to the current collecting tab.
Unit cell alignment apparatus having tiltable and rotatable base member
A unit cell alignment apparatus that includes a base member, on the upper surface of which unit cells constituting an electrode assembly are stacked parallel thereto, a first guide member located at one side of the base member, the first guide member being disposed so as to be perpendicular to the upper surface of the base member, a second guide member located at the base member, the second guide member being disposed so as to be perpendicular to the upper surface of the base member while being at right angles to the first guide member, and an inclination adjustment member configured to adjust the inclination of the base member.
