An electrode assembly includes: a plurality of first electrodes, each including a first electrode portion having a first active material layer thereon and a first uncoated region electrically connected to the first electrode portion; a separation membrane including a plurality of receiving portions arranged at intervals and respectively accommodating the first electrode portions, the separation membrane being folded so that surfaces of adjacent ones of the receiving portions face each other; and a plurality of second electrodes respectively positioned between adjacent ones of the receiving portions that face each other to overlap a corresponding one of the first electrode portions. The plurality of second electrodes each include a second electrode portion having a second active material layer thereon and a second uncoated region electrically connected to the second electrode portion.

BATTERY DEVICE

A battery device includes: a battery stack including a plurality of battery cells arranged along a predetermined straight direction; a pair of end members that are spaced apart from each other in the straight direction and sandwich the battery stack to prevent battery cells from moving; a temperature adjusting part which includes a heat exchange part for exchanging heat with the battery stack and a flowing passage in which a fluid for exchanging heat with the heat exchange part is flowing; and an end member fixing part to which the end members are fixed. The temperature adjusting part and the end member fixing part are integrally united into a single piece structure made of metal.

The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery and a battery module. The secondary battery comprises a case, comprising a base plate and a side plate connected with the base plate, wherein the base plate and the side plate form a receiving hole and an opening in communication with the receiving hole, the opening is arranged opposite to the base plate in an axial direction of the receiving hole, and the base plate has a thickness larger than that of the side plate; a cap assembly, sealingly connected with the side plate to close the opening; and an electrode assembly, disposed in the receiving hole and comprising two or more electrode units, which are stacked in the axial direction, and each electrode unit is arranged with a wide side opposite to the base plate and a narrow side toward the side plate.

The present disclosure provides a secondary battery and a battery module. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a case and a cap assembly. The case has an accommodating cavity, and the electrode assembly is accommodated in the accommodating cavity. The electrode assembly comprises electrode units stacked in an axial direction of the accommodating cavity. The cap assembly comprises a cap plate and a vent piece, the cap plate is connected with the case and positioned at a side of the electrode assembly in the axial direction. The cap plate is provided with a through-hole, and the vent piece covers the through-hole. The cap plate has a first inner surface, the vent piece has a second inner surface, and a distance between the first inner surface and the electrode assembly is larger than a distance between the second inner surface and the electrode assembly.

BATTERY MODULE AND BATTERY PACK

The present disclosure relates to a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module comprises two or more secondary batteries arranged side by side in a first direction, each of which includes a case, an electrode assembly and a closing portion, wherein the case has a receiving hole comprising an opening and extending in a second direction, and the first direction intersects with the second direction, wherein the closing portion is sealingly connected with the case to close the opening, the electrode assembly is disposed in the receiving hole and includes two or more electrode units, the electrode unit includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate and a separator, and the two or more electrode units are stacked in the second direction.

High charge rate, large capacity, solid-state battery

Solid-state battery structures, particularly solid-state lithium-based battery structures, which are fast charging and have a high capacity are provided. Notably, fast charging, high capacity solid-state battery structures are provided that include a plurality of solid-state-thin-film batteries that are stacked one atop the other, or that include an array of interconnected solid-state thin-film batteries, or that contain a solid-state thin-film battery located on physically exposed surfaces of fin structures.

The present disclosure provides a battery module capable of stably maintaining contact of electrode leads while having a simple structure and high assemblability. The battery module of the present disclosure includes: a cell assembly including a plurality of secondary batteries and a plurality of cartridges, the secondary batteries being vertically arranged and including electrode leads, the cartridges being vertically stacked to accommodate the secondary batteries in an inner space thereof; and a sensing assembly mounted on a front side of the cell assembly and including an insulation housing formed of an electrically insulative material and a sensing bus bar formed of an electrically conductive material, the sensing assembly being coupled to the electrode leads to sense voltages of the secondary batteries, wherein the insulation housing includes a plurality of penetration holes vertically spaced apart from each other to receive the electrode leads therethrough, and a plurality of housing slant portions arranged in the penetration holes and sloped at a predetermined angle from a horizontal direction.
