Provided are a jig of improving adhesion between a battery cell and a metal plate, which improves the adhesion between the battery cell and the metal plate of the battery pack to improve quality of laser welding and a method using the same.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING STORAGE MODULE AND STORAGE MODULE
A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a method for producing a storage module with excellent sealability. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing the method including: a preparing step of preparing a layered body, in which a plurality of electrode sheet that includes: an electrode including a current collector and an active material layer; and a frame body made of a resin arranged along an outer periphery of the electrode, is layered in a first direction; an arranging step of arranging a pair of restraining member of which heat conductivity is 1 W/m.Math.K or less, in a position overlapping with the frame body in the layered body when viewed from the first direction; and a heating step of heating the frame body in the layered body and the pair of restraining member while applying a restraining pressure to the layered body by the pair of restraining member, and thereby welding the frame body adjacent to each other in the first direction to form a seal part.
CARTRIDGE FOR SECONDARY BATTERY AND SECONDARY BATTERY PACK COMPRISING SAME
A cartridge for a secondary battery includes a cooling channel in which an upper cooling plate and a lower cooling plate are respectively coupled to an upper rim and a lower rim of a ring-shaped main frame having a hollow central area to face each other, the cooling channel being formed in a space between the upper cooling plate and the lower cooling plate, and the main frame includes an opening configured to form an inlet and an outlet of the cooling channel by passing through the main frame in a lateral direction, the opening having an edge area chamfered such that a diameter thereof expands in an outward direction.
Bipolar Li-ion battery having improved sealing and associated method of production
A bipolar battery having at least two electrochemical cells stacked one on top of the other, the bipolar collector including, at the periphery of same, on one of the faces of same, at least one first sealing device including one frame made from an electrically insulating and thermosensitive material, and two adhesive frames arranged individually to either side of the thermosensitive frame, the first or the second adjacent collector also including, at the periphery of same, on the covered face of same, at least one second sealing device including a frame made from an electrically insulating and thermosensitive material, and two adhesive frames arranged individually to either side of the thermosensitive frame, the first and second devices each forming a peripheral wall sealed to the electrolyte of the first or second cell, which surrounds same. Each sealed wall is obtained by heat-sealing at least one first and at least one second sealing device on the face of a current collector not provided with a sealing device.
Energy storage apparatus
An energy storage apparatus includes an energy storage device and an adjacent member adjacent to the energy storage device, wherein the energy storage device includes a case body for accommodating an electrode assembly, the case body having a body part including an opening at least a first end of the body part in a first direction, and a lid for closing the opening, the body part has a thick-walled part formed at least one of the first end and a second end of the body part in the first direction and a thin-walled part thinner than the thick-walled part, the adjacent member has a pair of sealing parts disposed at an interval in the first direction, and each of the sealing parts is in contact with the thin-walled part.
BATTERY CELL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
An exemplary support assembly for a battery array includes a spacer axially separating a first battery cell from a second battery cell, a frame that holds the spacer, and an insert secured to the frame. The insert is compressed against the first battery cell. An exemplary method of supporting a battery cell includes compressing an insert against a corner region of a battery cell. The insert is secured to a frame made of a first material. The insert is made of a second material that is softer than the first material.
BATTERY MODULE
According to one embodiment, a battery module includes a block-like battery cell unit in which a plurality of battery cells and a plurality of separators are stacked, and a frame which constrains the battery cell unit in a stacking direction of the battery cells and the separators. The frame is opposed to angular portions of end separators located at respective ends of the battery cell unit, as viewed in the stacking direction, and defines gaps with reference to the angular portions of the end separators.
Battery
The invention relates to a battery comprising at least a cathode current collector, a cathode, a separator, an electrolyte, an anode and an anode current collector, the cathode being disposed between the cathode current collector and the separator, and the anode being disposed between the separator and the anode current collector, the battery further comprising a sealing gasket disposed on the periphery of the cathode, of the anode and of the separator and connecting the inner peripheral edge of the cathode current collector to the inner peripheral edge of the anode current collector. Said sealing gasket is at least partly made of a viscoelastic elastomeric material.
