A brushless DC motor (BLDC) includes a stator having a ring-shaped body with multiple stator posts extending axially outward from the ring-shaped body. A plurality of stator windings are each wound about a corresponding one of the stator posts. A rotor support structure is positioned radially inward of the multiple stator posts. A rotor including a shaft is received in the rotor support structure. A first rotor disk is fixed to a first end of the shaft. At least a first set of magnets is disposed about the rotor disk and positioned radially adjacent to the stator posts such that the first set of magnets and the stator windings define a first radial flux flowpath. A second set of magnets positioned relative to the stator posts in one of an axial adjacency or a radial adjacency such that a second flux flowpath is defined.

A main body section is disposed between at least two of the fastening portions, and the housing having a plurality of dividers to define a plurality of containing spaces. The power axial shaft (210) includes an axial hole (211) extending along a central axis of the power axial shaft (210). The sleeve (220) includes one open end and another closed end extended outward to form an eccentric axial shaft (221) penetrating through the axial hole (211). A central axis of the eccentric axial shaft (211) is parallel with a central axis of the sleeve (220) and spaced apart therefrom. The power axial shaft (210) penetrates through the rotor (110), and the sleeve (220) is outside the motor main body (100). The assembly is facilitated by assembling the power axial shaft (210) and the sleeve (220) onto the motor main body (100) sequentially.

A motor includes a stator and a rotor having a rotor shaft. The motor includes a bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring that are configured to rotate relative to each other. The inner ring is supported by the rotor shaft. The motor also includes a holder that supports the outer ring. The holder is clearance-fitted to a retainer on a stator side. A rotation prevention apparatus configured to prevent the rotation of the holder is positioned between the holder and a stopper member on the stator side.

An axial flux motor includes a housing; a drive shaft disposed within the housing; at least one rotor; and at least one stator. The at least one rotor includes a diametrically-magnetized single pole pair magnetic ring having a rotor aperture defined through the center of the magnetic ring, where the drive shaft extends through the rotor aperture and where the at least one rotor is fixed to the drive shaft. The at least one stator includes a number of conductive windings and a stator aperture, where the drive shaft extends through the stator aperture and where the drive shaft is rotatable within the aperture. The at least one stator is configured to generate an axial magnetic field that causes the at least one rotor to rotate, thereby rotating the drive shaft.

A gyroscopic roll stabilizer for a boat includes an enclosure mounted to a gimbal for rotation about a gimbal axis and configured to maintain a below-ambient pressure, and a flywheel assembly including a flywheel and flywheel shaft, with the flywheel assembly rotatably mounted inside the enclosure for rotation about a flywheel axis. The gyroscopic roll stabilizer also includes a motor operative to rotate the flywheel assembly and disposed inside the enclosure. A motor cooling circuit is configured to transfer heat away from the motor. The motor cooling circuit has a closed fluid pathway for recirculating cooling fluid therein. The fluid pathway includes a fluid channel jointly defined by the motor and the enclosure and having the cooling fluid therein. The gyroscopic roll stabilizer is configured to transfer heat away from the motor to the cooling fluid. Related methods are also disclosed.

ELECTRIC MOTOR AND VEHICLE

An electric motor and a vehicle are provided. The electric motor includes a metal member, a rotor core, a shaft, a conductive bearing, and an elastic conductive member. The metal member is grounded. The rotor core is disposed on one side of the metal member, and includes a shaft hole. The shaft is connected to the rotor core, and penetrates through the shaft hole. The conductive bearing is disposed on the shaft in a sleeving manner. At least a portion of the elastic conductive member is disposed between the conductive bearing and the metal member. The elastic conductive member generates compression force through elastic deformation thereof, to be in tight contact with the conductive bearing.
