Methods of providing skin care using phototherapy
The present invention relates inter alia to a cosmetic method for providing skin care comprising illuminating the skin of a subject with one or more light beams, said beams together providing light to the skin having a discontinuous spectrum. The invention also relates to a method for treating a skin-related disorder and relates to a light-emitting device for use in these methods.
Method and apparatus for cyclo-scanner using surface emitting lasers or LEDs
A handheld device for delivering therapeutic light toward an eye of a patient includes a device housing that is configured to be held by a user in delivering the therapeutic light, a plurality of light sources disposed within the device housing, and an array of lenses disposed near the distal end of the device housing. Each light source is configured to independently emit a beam of therapeutic light and each lens of the array is aligned with a respective light source so that each beam of therapeutic light that is emitted from the respective light sources is focused and directed by the respective lenses of the array to target tissue of the eye in order to therapeutically treat to the target tissue.
Method of using photon modulation for regulation of hormones in mammals
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, apparatuses and methods for regulation hormone production in mammals. Examples include but are not limited to by creating electro-magnetic wave emission pulse trains (photons) of individual color spectrums in sufficient intensity to drive hormone production in a mammal, using a characteristic frequency or pattern to minimize the required input power necessary to regulate hormone production, while also allowing for the monitoring of the power consumption and other variables of the system. By controlling the duty cycle, intensity, wavelength band and frequency of photon signals to a mammal, production of specific hormones can be regulated through the cycling between blue, green, yellow, near-red, far-red, infrared and ultra violet photon modulation.
Scanning mechanism and treatment method for LLLT or other light source therapy device
A scanning mechanism to scan a light source, such as a low-level laser, to create a desirable energy distribution on a treatment area. The light source may include multiple light beam generators, each having a different wavelength and each having a different energy distribution. The scanning mechanism can be programmable to scan in different patterns in accordance with a desired treatment.
PHOTOBIOMODULATION THERAPY DEVICE ACCESSORIES
A light therapy device mounting system may include an elongate pole comprising a plurality of holes, a first end and a second end, a mounting device slideably coupled to the elongate pole via at least one hole of the plurality of holes, a top bracket slideably coupled to the first end of the elongate pole, and a bottom bracket slideably coupled to the second end of the elongate pole. The top bracket may include a top hook for receiving a top portion of a door, and the bottom bracket may include a bottom hook for receiving a bottom portion of the door.
LIGHT TREATMENT DEVICE
A handheld light treatment device that aims to provide a wide variety of uses in personal care and household cleaning. The device contains a panel with light sources positioned behind a translucent or transparent head plate, to which is attachable an applicator disc and, optionally, applicator disc attachments with selected functionalities. The light panel shines light of different frequencies that may be useful for cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces. The applicator disc and applicator disc attachments have a substantially translucent or transparent base, allowing light from the light sources to shine through the head plate as well as applicator disc and applicator disc attachment, and the applicator disc to rotate while the light panel remains fixed. The applicator disc and applicator disc attachments may have bristles or other surface elements to facilitate cleaning or other uses, and the device may dispense an ingredient.
PHOTOBIOMODULATION THERAPY SYSTEMS AND DEVICES
A light therapy device may comprise a housing comprising a front bezel and a back portion detachably coupled to the front bezel, a printed circuit board assembly coupled to the housing, and at least one LED electrically coupled to the printed circuit board assembly. The at least one LED may be arranged and configured to emit light through at least one aperture of the front bezel. In some embodiments, the at least one LED is arranged and configured to pulse at a predetermined frequency and a predetermined duty cycle.
LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING CIRCADIAN NEUROENDOCRINE FUNCTION
Lighting systems, methods, and devices for protecting human circadian neuroendocrine function during night use are described. Suitable lighting conditions can be provided for a working environment while protecting the circadian neuroendocrine systems of those occupying the illuminated workplace during the night. Lighting systems, methods, and devices can provide substantive attenuation of the pathologic circadian disruption in night workers. Lighting systems, methods, and devices can attenuate the specific bands of light implicated in circadian disruption. LED lighting systems, methods, and devices can provide increased intensity at a different portion of the spectrum than conventional LEDs, providing a useable white light even when unfavorable portions of the wavelength are attenuated by a notch filter. LED lighting systems, methods, and devices can switch between a daytime configuration and a night time configuration, wherein the daytime configuration provides unfiltered light and the night time configuration provides filtered light.
Methods and systems for neural stimulation via auditory stimulation
Systems and methods of the present disclosure are directed to systems and methods for treating cognitive dysfunction in a subject in need thereof. The system can include a neural stimulation system that receives an indication of an ambient audio signal detected by a microphone. The system selects, from a profile, an audio signal including a fixed parameter and a variable parameter. The system sets the variable parameter to a first value. The system generates an output signal based on the fixed parameter and the first value, and provides the output signal to the speaker. The system measures a physiological condition of the subject, adjusts the variable parameter to a second value, generates a second output signal based on the fixed parameter and the second value of the variable parameter, and provides the output signal to the speaker to cause the speaker to provide modified sound to the subject.
INTENSE PULSE LIGHT (IPL) APPARATUS UTILIZING A PULSE FORMING NETWORK (PFN)
