A method including receiving, from a device management element or function of at least one transport and/or access device or function installed at a predefined location for which a local control is to be conducted, and storing device or function related data, forwarding the stored device or function related data to a centralized control element or function, receiving, from the centralized control element or function, and processing instruction data for the at least one transport and/or access device or function, and conducting a local device or function management control procedure for the at least one transport and/or access device or function according to a result of the processing of the instruction data.

The second device management unit generates the device list and causes the second storage to store the device list, when the second management device shifts from a first state to a second state.

A communication device is connected to first and second networks. The communication device includes a processor executing a process including relaying communication between the first and second networks; and confirming connection to a first device connected to the first network or a second device connected to the second network, based on a device list registered in advance. At least one aspect is directed to the monitoring and management of in-home broadband subscriber computer networks allowing for automatic network issue detection and resolution. The systems and methods described herein can monitor the network utilization, subscriber information, and subscriber devices using protocols such as TR-069 and SNMP. The systems described herein are service provider and vendor agnostic, being compliant with the TR-098 and TR-131 protocols to allow for remote management, diagnosis, and configuration of subscriber devices. The systems and methods described herein can reduce the number of home visits by service provider technicians by providing a remote network management solution capable of automatically diagnosing and resolving network issues with an issue detection model. The system can be non-intrusive and executed from a cloud computing environment to allow access to millions of devices.

A method includes receiving a plurality of inputs comprising data corresponding to a plurality of network elements, confirming presence of a given network element of the plurality of network elements on at least one network, and adding the given network element to a network element database. The method also includes interfacing with one or more network integration services of a plurality of network integration services to receive data corresponding to the given network element. The network element database is automatically updated with the received data, and the interfacing is performed via a message bus.

A computing system may use redundant communication pathways for communicating surgical imaging feed(s). The computing system may obtain multiple surgical video streams via multiple pathways. The multiple surgical video streams may include copies of the same video. The surgical video streams may be obtained, for example, from the same intra-body imaging feed, such as intra-body visual light feed. For example, a first video stream may be obtained via a communication pathway, and a second video stream may be obtained via another communication pathway. The computing system may display or send a surgical video stream for display. The computing system may whether the video stream being displayed has encountered any issues. Upon detecting an issue with the video stream being displayed, the computing system may display or send another obtained surgical video stream for display.

A technique for remote administration of a device to he administered. A relay device receives a request to activate a filter for administration of the device to he administered from a referring administration server. This activation request includes information relating to rights assigned to a third-party administration server for delegating the administration of the device to he administered. The relay device then applies a filter to a message received from the third-party administration server intended for the device to he administered, the message received from the third-party administration server being filtered by the filter when it does not comply with the rights assigned to the third-party administration server.
