NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR FEDERATED MULTI-SITE LOGICAL NETWORK

Some embodiments provide a network management system for managing a logical network that spans multiple physical sites. The network management system includes a global network manager for receiving global logical network configuration data for the multiple physical sites. The network management system includes, at each of the physical sites, (i) a local network manager for receiving a logical network configuration for the physical site from the global network manager and (ii) a set of central controllers for distributing logical network configuration data to computing devices that implement the logical network at the physical site.

NETWORK CONTROLLER FOR MULTI-SITE LOGICAL NETWORK

Some embodiments provide a method for a first network controller executing at a first site of multiple sites spanned by a logical network. Network controllers execute at each site. The method generates logical network state data for the first site based on (i) data received from computing devices that implement the logical network at the first site and (ii) logical network configuration data from a network manager at the first site. The method provides the logical network state data for the first site to a second network controller executing at a second site. The method provides logical network state data received from the second site to the computing devices that implement the logical network at the first site.

USER INTERFACE FOR ACCESSING MULTI-SITE LOGICAL NETWORK

Some embodiments provide a method for providing a user interface (UI) for a network management application. The method provides a first UI for accessing a global network manager through the network management application to configure a global logical network spanning multiple physical sites. For each respective site, the method provides an additional UI for accessing a respective local network manager for the site (i) to modify the global logical network at the respective site and (ii) to configure a local logical network at the respective site. The method provides a UI item for toggling between the first UI and the additional UIs. Multiple UI items available in the first UI are also available in the additional UIs.

Industrial controller system and interactive graphical user interfaces related thereto

Controller devices may be configured to automatically connect to a remote management server (e.g., a “cloud”-based management server), and may offload received data and analyses to the remote management server via wired or wireless communications. The controller devices may further communicate with the management server, user computing devices, and/or human machine interface devices, e.g., to provide remote access to the controller device, provide real-time information from the controller device, receive configurations/updates, provide interactive graphical user interfaces, and/or the like.

A system for building a software application may comprise a database and a hardware processor. The database may be configured to store a plurality of object definitions, each object definition being configured to cause an executing processor to perform specific processing when executed. The hardware processor may be configured to cause a user interface to be displayed; receive, from the user interface, a selection of a plurality of the object definitions and an input specifying at least one relationship between the plurality of the object definitions; create an application definition based on the selection and the input; and provide an application interpreter configured to enable the executing processor to process the application definition. The software application may include the application definition and the application interpreter.

Methods and systems are provided for service policy orchestration in a communication network. Orchestrating a service policy in a communication network may include, receiving first service event related data, with the first service event related data including data that defines an update of a current service execution policy; selecting an operator access domain linked to the first service event related data for executing a service linked to the service policy; sending to the operator access domain the first service event related data and an operator specific service identifier linked to a respective operator access domain; receiving first feedback data set from the operator access domain; and processing the first feedback data set.

METHOD FOR MANAGING USER INFORMATION OF APPLICATION, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM

Example methods and apparatus for managing user information of an application are described. One example method is applied to a user management device of a cloud platform, where the cloud platform is configured to bear an application registered by a user with the cloud platform. The method includes receiving a user management registration request of a first application, where the first application is one of applications registered with the cloud platform, and the user management registration request of the first application carries an identifier of the first application. A user management instance is created for the first application according to the user management registration request and the identifier of the first application, where the user management instance is used to manage user information of the first application. The user management instance is invoked to process a service that is in the first application and related to the user information.

Systems and methods for configuring a resource for network traffic analysis

The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods of configuring a resource for network traffic analysis. An agent executed by a computing device receives an indication to record a browsing session. The agent records network activity data of the browsing session. The agent generates a data file with the recording. The agent transmits the data file and a request to generate a report to an analytics server. The analytics server receives the request and extracts the network activity data from the data file. The analytics server applies an event processing protocol to the network activity data. The analytics server generates a report and transmits the report to the client device for display.

Data structure for defining multi-site logical network

Some embodiments provide a method for managing a logical network that spans multiple physical sites. The method creates a global tree data structure for defining the logical network. The method adds at least two physical sites to the global tree data structure. The physical sites added to the global tree structure are eligible to be spanned by the logical network. The method adds multiple logical network elements to the global tree data structure. At least a subset of the logical network elements reference the physical sites in the global tree data structure in order to span to the physical sites.

TECHNIQUE FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING SYSTEM TIME INFORMATION IN BROADCASTING SYSTEM

The present disclosure provides a data transmission method of a system in an IP based broadcasting network, the data transmission method comprising the steps of: generating an MPEG media transport protocol (MMTP) packet using a media processing unit (MPU) for a service; generating an IP packet using the MMTP packet; generating a layer 2 (L2) packet using the IP packet and generating a layer 1 (L1) packet stream using the L2 packet; and transmitting the L1 packet stream, wherein absolute time information of the system is included in one of a transmission frame of the L1 packet stream and the L2 packet.
