The present disclosure discloses an arbitration processing solution when brain split occurs in cluster. The solution includes: receiving, by a quorum storage apparatus within a first refresh packet detection period, first master quorum node preemption requests sent by at least two quorum nodes in the cluster; sending, by the quorum storage apparatus, a first master quorum node preemption success response message to the initial master quorum node indicating that the initial master quorum node succeeds in master quorum node preemption when the first master quorum node preemption requests received within the first refresh packet detection period comprise the master quorum node preemption request sent by the initial master quorum node.

Network controller for multi-site logical network

Some embodiments provide a method for a first network controller executing at a first site of multiple sites spanned by a logical network. Network controllers execute at each site. The method generates logical network state data for the first site based on (i) data received from computing devices that implement the logical network at the first site and (ii) logical network configuration data from a network manager at the first site. The method provides the logical network state data for the first site to a second network controller executing at a second site. The method provides logical network state data received from the second site to the computing devices that implement the logical network at the first site.

CREATING RULES FOR LABELED SERVERS IN A DISTRIBUTED NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A system enforces administrative domain wide policies specified using labels that describe characteristics of servers or services. A label comprises a label value describing a characteristic of one or more computing devices for a label dimension. The system infers label values for devices using features describing characteristics of the computing devices, for example, hardware characteristics, software characteristics, or connectivity characteristics. The system obtains communication information indicating the destination, source, volume, and duration of network traffic between computing devices. The system identifies providers of services and consumers of services based on the communication information. The system generates rules for regulating communications between computing devices and enforces the rules.

A method for centralizing events for a multilevel hierarchical computer management system, the system including a plurality of source equipments generating events and a plurality of event collectors per level, the method including selecting by an upper level collector a lower level collector according to operational parameters and/or a link quality of service of the lower level collector; receiving by the collector the events from the selected lower level collector; periodically verifying if the selected collector is available and if not repeating the selection step; and comparing by the upper level collector its events with those from the unselected lower level collectors and receiving from one of these unselected lower level collectors the events that are different.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR EFFICIENT STORAGE AND PROCESSING OF GLOBAL AND LOCAL CYBER THREAT DATA IN A DISTRIBUTED FACTOR GRAPH DATABASE

Apparatus and methods described herein relate to a global workspace management compute device that can generate a workspace hierarchy tree representing a hierarchy of a set of workspaces in a network. A local workspace management compute device operatively coupled to the global workspace management compute device can, when operative, calculate workspace cyber-threat data for a local workspace in the set of workspaces based on data from a global workspace, and can provide the calculated workspace cyber-threat data to a local workspace interface so that the local workspace interface displays a representation of the set of workspaces in the network. After receiving modifications of portions of the local workspace cyber-threat data, the local workspace management compute device can define a child node of the local workspace based on the modifications. The local workspace interface can modify the representation of the set of workspaces in the network based on the child node.

Technologies for dividing work across accelerator devices

Technologies for dividing work across one or more accelerator devices include a compute device. The compute device is to determine a configuration of each of multiple accelerator devices of the compute device, receive a job to be accelerated from a requester device remote from the compute device, and divide the job into multiple tasks for a parallelization of the multiple tasks among the one or more accelerator devices, as a function of a job analysis of the job and the configuration of each accelerator device. The compute engine is further to schedule the tasks to the one or more accelerator devices based on the job analysis and execute the tasks on the one or more accelerator devices for the parallelization of the multiple tasks to obtain an output of the job.

System and method for hierarchical relationship matrix opportunity scoring

Systems and methods for computing communication matrices based on opportunity scoring of a plurality of network-connected user devices. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a scoring algorithm may compute an opportunity score for future delivery of interactions comprising parameters such as a cumulative time comprising historic and real-time communication time between a client device with an agent; geographic location and distance between a client device and an agent device; a quantity of direct connections for one or more client devices associated to an agent device; a quantity of indirect connections for one or more client devices associated to the agent device; quantity metrics associated to an agent device, for example, a total number of registrations. An interaction manager then routs interactions based on scoring of agent devices.
