PERFORMANCE PROFILE FOR NETWORK STACK COMPONENTS
A computing device is provided, including a processor configured to receive a selection of a performance profile of a plurality of performance profiles. The performance profile may indicate a performance variable goal state for a first network stack component included in a network stack of a plurality of network stack components. In response to receiving the selection of the performance profile, the processor may be further configured to control a network performance parameter of the first network stack component such that a performance variable of the first network stack component approaches the performance variable goal state. The processor may be further configured to transmit, to an additional network stack component of the plurality of network stack components, instructions to control an additional network performance parameter of the additional network stack component such that the performance variable of the first network stack component approaches the performance variable goal state.
METHODS AND NETWORK NODES FOR MONITORING SERVICES IN A CONTENT DELIVERY NETWORK
A method for monitoring services, in a content delivery network (CDN), having a plurality of delivery nodes used to deliver services requested by end-users comprises: instructing the plurality of delivery nodes to associate identifiers to service requests, when the service requests arrive at any of the plurality of delivery nodes, the identifiers being logged with their associated service requests in log files; sending a request to a log collector for log information, the request including a service ID corresponding to a service to be monitored; receiving the log information corresponding to the services to be monitored, based on the service ID and the associated identifier; and based on the received log information, determining a required bandwidth for delivering the service to be monitored. Also, network nodes for carrying out this method are disclosed.
CLOSED LOOP AUTOMATION FOR INTENT-BASED NETWORKING
A method is performed at one or more entities configured to configure and provide assurance for a service enabled on a network. The service is configured as a collection of subservices on network devices of the network. A definition of the service is decomposed into a subservice dependency graph that indicates the subservices and dependencies between the subservices that collectively implement the service. Based on the subservice dependency graph, the subservices are configured to record and report subservice metrics indicative of subservice health states of the subservices. The subservice metrics are obtained from the subservices, and the subservice health states of the subservices are determined based on the subservice metrics. A health state of the service is determined based on the subservice health states. One or more of the subservices are reconfigured based on the health state of the service.
Service Level Agreement Management Service
A service level agreement management service can include a computer that can obtain network data that relates to a service. The network data can represent a service level agreement associated with the service. The computer can create a failure data set and an inventory data set that can be bound to one another to obtain an intermediate data set. A data partition of the intermediate data set can be selected based on a failure root cause. A failure estimator that estimates a probability of failure over time for the service due to the failure root cause can be determined, and a best-fit probability distribution can be identified. A failure model that represents failures over time for the service due to the failure root cause can be output, and the computer can determine if the service level agreement should be updated.
Methods and systems for service-level agreement (SLA) network capacity management
Embodiments of a device and method are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for network capacity management of a network deployed at a customer site involves at a cloud server connected to the network, receiving network capacity information of the network deployed at the customer site from wireless sensors deployed at the customer site and at the cloud server, automatically determining a service-level agreement (SLA) network capacity metric based on the network capacity information.
Shared communication links in an electronic trading system
Certain embodiments provide methods, tangible computer storage medium, and systems of shared communication links in an electronic trading system. An example method includes determining a first network service state of a first communication network established between a first wireless trading device and an exchange and receiving a second network service state of a second communication network established between a second wireless trading device and the exchange. The first wireless trading device receives the second network state from the second wireless device via a shared communication link. The example method also includes determining an active communication network based on a quality-of-service metric calculated between the first communication network and the second communication network by comparing the first network service state and the second network service state. The example method also includes communicating market information related to one or more markets with the exchange utilizing the active communication network and distributing the market information via the shared communication link.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EVALUATING COMPUTING RESOURCES
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can receive information about requested resources from a computational resource consumer. The information about the requested resources can be analyzed to generate a first multi-dimensional array including a first set of name-value pairs associated with the requested resources. Information about offered resources can be received from a computational resource provider. The information about the offered resources can be analyzed to generate a second multi-dimensional array including a second set of name-value pairs associated with the offered resources. The first multi-dimensional array and the second multi-dimensional array can be evaluated based on an evaluation algorithm.
SYSTEM FOR ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES BASED ON RESOURCE UTILIZATION
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for allocation of resources based on resource utilization. The system is configured to electronically receive information associated with a user, wherein the information comprises a primary user profile; determine one or more actions associated with the primary user profile, wherein the one or more actions are to be executed by the user; determine one or more resources required to execute the one or more actions based on at least the primary user profile; and assign the one or more resources to the user based on at least the primary user profile associated with the user, wherein the one or more resources enable the user to execute the one or more actions.
Creating an entity definition from a search result set
A processing device performs a search query to produce a search result set having entries having data items. Each data item has an ordinal position. A table, having rows and columns, is displayed in a graphical user interface. Each data item of a particular entry appears in a respective column of the same row of the table. Each column corresponds to the ordinal position of its respective data item. User input is received designating, for each respective column, a field name and an entity definition component type to which the respective column pertains, and stores for each data item of the particular entry an element value of an entity definition. The element has the element name designated for the respective column in which the data item appeared, and is associated with an entity definition component having the type designated for the respective column in which the data item appeared.
Method and arrangement for terminal reporting
The invention relates to a method for performance reporting in a wireless network, wherein at least one terminal is associated to a terminal report server by means of information in the terminal. Prior to initiating the performance report, information on operator identity is retrieved. The operator identity is combined with information identifying the associated terminal report server to compile a fully qualified domain name. Connectivity information to the terminal server report is requested and received from a domain name server, whereupon a performance report session to the terminal report server is initiated using the received connectivity information. The invention also relates to a terminal wherein the inventive method is applied.
