Authentication of Email Senders Via Authorizing DNS Server
A DNS server receives from a receiving email system, a DNS query for an email domain stored at the DNS server, the DNS query including identifying information of a sender of an email. The DNS server extracts the identifying information of the email sender from the DNS query and identifies one of a plurality of delivering organizations from the information. The DNS server determines whether the identified delivering organization is authorized to deliver email on behalf of the email domain. In response to determining that the identified delivering organization is authorized to deliver email on behalf of the email domain, the DNS server generates a target validation record based on the identity of the authorized delivering organization and the email domain, the target validation record including one or more rules indicating to the receiving email system whether the delivering organization is an authorized sender of email for the email domain.
Centralized Validation of Email Senders Via EHLO Name and IP Address Targeting
A DNS server receives from a receiving email system, a DNS query for an email domain stored at the DNS server, the DNS query including identifying information of a sender of an email.
Delivering content over a network
A method of delivering content in one or more packets over a network is described. A content request packet comprising a request for content based on a first IPv6 address is received, the first IPv6 address identifying the content. The first IPv6 address is mapped to a second IPv6 address, the second IPv6 address being associated with the content at a physical location. The content requested in the content request packet is then received from the physical location associated with the second IPv6 address for delivery to a user. A further method includes routing a packet for requesting the content from a client to a content server storing an instant of the content, based on an IPv6 address of content being requested by the client. A communication session is then set up between the client and the content server; and the requested content is transmitted from the content server.
IMS emergency calls for roaming UEs
A method in a proxy call session control function, P-CSCF, of handling an unauthenticated emergency call originating from a roaming user equipment that is not attached to the P-CSCF. The P-CSCF receives a session initiation protocol (SIP) REGISTER request from the UE, where the REGISTER request relating to the emergency registration. The P-CSCF determines an IP address of the UE. The P-CSCF sends an identity query to a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) indicating the IP address of the UE and requesting other identifiers of the UE. The P-CSCF receives one or more other identifiers of the UE from the PCRF. The P-CSCF obtains a TEL and/or SIP uniform resource identifier (URI) for the UE on the basis of at least one of the one or more other identifiers. The P-CSCF sends a 200 OK response to the UE in response to the SIP REGISTER request, where the 200 OK response includes the TEL and/or SIP URI. Also provided are corresponding methods in other nodes and for authenticated emergency calls, and apparatus for implementing the methods.
302 redirecting method, URL generating method and system, and domain-name resolving method and system
The present disclosure provides a generating method and a system for redirecting URL, a redirecting server, a resolving method and a system for resolving a domain-name resolution request, a DNS server, a 302 redirecting method that supports HTTPS, and a network system. A client terminal sends a first HTTP request. The redirecting server specifies a content server, convert an IP address of the content server to a prefix of a redirecting domain name, uses a service domain name as a suffix of the redirecting domain name, combines the redirecting domain name and a URL in the first HTTP to form the redirecting URL, and sends the redirecting URL to the client terminal. The client terminal requests for resolving of the redirecting domain name. The DNS server recognizes a domain name in the domain-name resolution request and performs an inverse converting on the prefix of the redirecting domain name to obtain an IP address of the content server and sends the IP address of the content server to the client terminal. The client terminal sends a second HTTP request containing the redirecting URL to the content server; and sends an IP generated by resolving and in correspondence of the first HTTP request to the client terminal.
Method of resolving an IP address, corresponding server and computer program
A method for resolving an IP address, includes a step of receiving an address resolution request, the request including a datum representative of a MAC address; a step of looking up, within a data structure, an IP address, depending on the datum representative of a MAC address; and a step of transmitting said IP address.
Template-compatible encoding for content chunk aggregation and mapping
A method of enabling access to content in a network implementing Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is described, the method including accessing a content addressing file including entries each comprising a content portion location associated with the content portion. The content portion location associated with the content portion is extracted for an entry and, based on the content portion location, a section of an IPv6 address for the content portion is formed. Methods of addressing content for storage and retrieving content are also described.
Systems and methods for managing a payment terminal via a web browser
The present disclosure relates generally to communication with payment terminals via TCP/IP protocol. Using network technology and novel processes, in particular embodiments, the present systems and methods facilitate local network discovery and communication between a payment terminal and an electronic cash register (“ECR”) via a browser. For example, in certain embodiments, the present systems and methods leverage TCP/IP network technology to securely facilitate communications between SaaS ECR software running in a browser environment and one or more payment terminals.
INTERNET PROTOCOL MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM EMERGENCY CALLS FOR ROAMING USER EQUIPMENTS
A method of operating a user equipment (“UE”) to handle an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (“IMS”) emergency call can include sending a session initiation protocol (“SIP”) REGISTER request relating to an emergency registration to a proxy call session control function (“P-CSCF”) of an IMS network. The method can further include, responsive to sending the SIP REGISTER request, receiving a response from the P-CSCF. The method can further include, responsive to receiving the response, performing an action based on the response.
INTERNET PROTOCOL MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM EMERGENCY CALLS FOR ROAMING USER EQUIPMENTS
A method of operating a policy and charging rules function (“PCRF”) node to handle an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (“IMS”) emergency call can include receiving an identity request from a proxy call session control function (“P-CSCF”) of an IMS network. The identity request can include an internet protocol (“IP”) address for a user equipment (“UE”). The method can further include, responsive to receiving the identity request, determining one or more identifiers of the UE based on the IP address. The one or more identifiers are separate from the IP address. The method can further include, responsive to determining the one or more identifiers, transmitting an indication of the one or more identifiers of the UE to the P-CSCF.
