Method of playing music prior to establishing a phone call
This present invention disclosure relates to a method for playing music prior to establishing a phone call. It specifically relates to music discovery and playing the music for around 8 seconds, when a person makes a call from his mobile phone. Since music is played from the user's phone, there is no telecom network integration required. Additionally, the disclosure provides discovering songs based on user's context and collecting the songs thereof.
GENERATION OF INFORMATION BASED ON EVENT DATA OF A CALL
A server, a system, a computer program product, and a method for generating information relating to a subscriber B with respect to a call connection attempt from a subscriber A to the subscriber B by a server. The method including steps of receiving event data; determining when the event data comprises an event representing a busy state; determining when the previous event represents a call ringing state; generating an indication that the call connection attempt is rejected by the subscriber B; and in response to a determination that the previous event does not represent the call ringing state, generating an indication that the call connection attempt did not reach the subscriber B.
AUTOMATIC MOBILE DEVICE WEBSITE LOGIN
A processing system receives device registration information from a registered user of a website. The device registration information includes a registered telephone number assigned to a mobile communications device. The processing system receives a request for a homepage of the website from a requesting mobile communications device coupled to the processing system via a mobile carrier communications system. The Internet Protocol (IP) address associated with the request is obtained, and the processing system obtains a telephone number currently associated with the IP address from a mobile carrier communications system. The processing system attempts to automatically login the requesting mobile communications device to the website by matching the telephone number currently associated with the IP address to the registered telephone number, and conditionally transmits different versions of the homepage based on whether the requesting mobile communications device has been automatically logged in to the website.
Identification and caller options relating to custom ringback audio
Custom ringback audio, and metadata associated with the ringback audio, may be transmitted to a caller device. The caller device may playback the custom ringback audio during a ringback portion the call and may provide, via a graphical call interface, information based on the received metadata. The information may include, for example, a title of a song corresponding to the custom ringback audio.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EFFECTUATING REAL-TIME SHAPED DATA TRANSFER DURING CALL SETUP PROCEDURE IN A TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK
The present disclosure generally relates to the field of telecommunication systems. The disclosure more particularly relates to a system and method for effectuating real time shaped data transfer during call setup procedure in a telecommunication network, where selection is made to shape the data transfer during call setup by called party, providing a dynamic tone service operation, where dynamic tone consists of dynamic ring back tone and dynamic busy tone.
Audible alerts for co-located devices
A user may have multiple devices that are associate with a single user address such as an email address, a telephone number, a user name, a user ID, etc. When a communication is addressed to the single user address, a location of each of the devices is determined, and any devices that are co-located within a common geographic area are identified. For those devices within the common geographic area, one of the devices is selected and instructed to play an audible alert. The other devices within the common geographic area are not instructed or are specifically instructed not to play the audible alert. All of the user's multiple devices may present a visual alert.
Mobile-Device-Based Carrier Voicemail Reduction
A mobile device having phoning capabilities also include capabilities to optionally reduce an operating load on a centralized mobile carrier voicemail system. The user of the mobile device is presented with a notification of an incoming call and is provided with an opportunity to answer the call in a traditional fashion, to optionally engage the centralized mobile carrier voicemail system, or to instead have the mobile device manage options relating to locally obtaining a voicemail from a maker of the incoming call. When the mobile device manages obtaining a voicemail from the maker of the incoming call, the voicemail is originally obtained and is stored locally, without use of centralized carrier resources at the time of recording the voicemail, and the mobile device can also play the recorded voicemail at any time without use of the centralized carrier resources.
System for switching and outputting sender-controlled incoming ringtone and method therefor
The present invention provides a system for switching and outputting a sender-controlled incoming ringtone, in which applications transmitting a message to be transmitted to each counterpart of a phone call or text message transmission and automatically setting and outputting the message as the ringtone when a receiver receives the message transmitted by the sender are installed in a sender terminal and a receiver terminal, respectively, such that the message set by the sender is output as the ringtone of the receiver terminal by the control of the sender when making a voice call or transmitting the text message, and a method therefor.
Mobile terminal and method of controlling same
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method of controlling same, and has the objective of providing a mobile terminal and a method of controlling same which allow a caller to be identified when a call signal is received without having to look at a display. The gist of the present invention is that when a call signal is received through a wireless communication unit, the calling phone number of the received call signal is identified, a melody bell sound corresponding to the identified calling phone number is output, and the key of the melody corresponds to a first number included in the calling phone number.
Systems and methods for consolidating wireline and wireless voicemail boxes
Voicemail systems can include a memory and a processor. The memory can store data relating to users. An incoming communication can be handled by the voicemail system, forwarded to another voicemail system, provided with functionality based upon a user's preferences, and the like. The voicemail systems can include functionality to allow a user to consolidate voicemail messages and/or calls at one or more designated destinations, for example, a voicemail system and/or a mobile device.
