Bearer modification for V2X Communications
A vehicle to everything application function (V2X AF) transmits a DIAMETER AA-request command to a policy and charging rule function (PCRF). The DIAMETER AA-request command comprises: an attribute value pairs (AVP) identifying a V2X application, and one of more quality of service (QoS) parameters. The one of more quality of service (QoS) parameters indicate a QoS of a V2X bearer for the V2X application employed by a wireless device. The PCRF decides one or more policy and charging control (PCC) provisions for the QoS provided for the V2X application identified by the AVP. The PCRF transmits a DIAMETER command to a policy charging enforcement function (PCEF). The DIAMETER command comprises the one or more PCC provisions for the QoS. The PCEF enforces the one or more PCC provisions for the QoS on a plurality of packets transmitted via the V2X bearer to the wireless device.
Method, apparatus and mobile device for measuring internet traffic of mobile device
An apparatus for measuring and displaying Internet traffic of a mobile device, which includes a traffic measurement module and a traffic display module. The apparatus also includes a SIM card account creation module configured to create a SIM card account for each of a plurality of SIM cards. The traffic measurement module measures the Internet traffic of each of the SIM card accounts. The traffic display module displays the Internet traffic of each of the SIM card accounts. The Internet traffic of each SIM card on the mobile device may be measured and displayed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, PROCESS EXECUTING SYSTEM, PROCESS EXECUTING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An information processing system configured to communicate with an apparatus and an external server and to perform a series of processes specified by the apparatus is provided. The information processing system includes a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to identify a program that is executed in the external server based on the series of processes specified by the apparatus, and control the operational state of the external server in which the identified program is executed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING DATA USAGE IN A CONVERGED CHARGING SYSTEM
Systems and methods described herein include receiving, at a network device and from a session management device, a first message that includes a first identifier associated with a subscriber and a second identifier associated with a first service that is charged using an online charging system. The network device transmits a second message that indicates a first time period in which to report data usage associated with the first service and a second time period in which to report data usage associated with one or more second services that are charged using an offline charging system. The network device receives first data usage information associated with the first service after the first time period and second data usage information associated with the one or more second services after the second time period. The network device processes the data usage information.
Method and system for wireless local area network user to access fixed broadband network
A method and system for a wireless local area network user accessing a fixed broadband network, the method includes: a broadband network gateway (BNG) device initiating an identity authenticating process to an authentication authorization accounting (AAA) server for a wireless local area network (WLAN) user; after the AAA server successfully authenticates the WLAN user, the BNG device acquiring a mobility identifier of the WLAN user from the AAA server; after receiving the mobility identifier of the WLAN user, the BNG device allowing the mobility access of the WLAN user.
SYSTEM FOR GRANT OF USER ACCESS AND DATA USAGE IN A PROCESS DATA NETWORK
Embodiments enable a system operatively connected with a block chain distributed network to use a block chain distributed network for granting user access and/or data usage in a process data network. Embodiments receive a transaction record associated with a payment transaction initiated by a user, wherein the transaction record comprises transaction data indicating a payor account owned by a payor distinct from the user, a payee and an amount; access a distributed ledger stored in the memory device, wherein the distributed ledger is updated based on communications from a block chain distributed network; and determine, using the accessed distributed ledger, whether the user is authorized to conduct the payment transaction. In some cases, the system determines, using the accessed distributed ledger, that one or more payor restrictions have been placed on user use of the payor account; and applies the payor restrictions to processing of the payment transaction.
Online charging method for always on IP connectivity
The invention relates to an online charging method for always on IP connectivity in a communication system, the method comprises a Diameter router receiving an online charging request from a Diameter client, wherein the online charging request includes subscriber information; the Diameter router finding a corresponding online charging system in a subscriber index database based on the subscriber information; sending a successful acknowledge to the Diameter client and generating a ticket file when the corresponding online charging system does not exist in the subscriber index database or the corresponding online charging system is not available, wherein the successful acknowledge includes a dummy quota specified by the Diameter router; and the ticket file processor reading the ticket file based on a scheduled timing and generating a first online charging event request and sending the first online charging event request to the Diameter router when the corresponding online charging system exists in the subscriber index database or the corresponding online charging system is available.
Method and trusted gateway for WiFi terminal accessing to packet data PS service domain
The embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a trusted gateway for a WiFi terminal to access a PS service domain. The method comprises: receiving an accounting request message sent by an authentication, authorization and accounting AAA server or a dynamic host configuration protocol DHCP request message sent by the WiFi terminal; establishing, by a trusted gateway, a first packet data protocol PDP context connection or a first packet data network PDN connection with the PS service domain according to attribute information of the WiFi terminal after receiving the accounting request message or the DHCP request message, so that the WiFi terminal accesses the PS service domain via the wireless local area network, the trusted gateway, and the established first PDP context connection or the first PDN connection.
Changing a data stream characteristic based on a data usage rate
An approach is provided for adjusting a characteristic of a data stream. A rate of data usage provided by one or more data streams within a time period that has not ended is determined. An amount of time remaining in the time period is determined. Based at least in part on the amount of time remaining in the time period and the rate of data usage, an expected amount of data usage within the entire time period is determined. Whether the expected amount of data usage exceeds a limit on data usage within the entire time period is determined. If the expected amount of data usage exceeds the limit, the characteristic of the data stream is adjusted so that actual data usage within the entire time period does not exceed the limit. The actual data usage is based in part on the adjusted characteristic.
