A weightlifting converting device is provided that includes a plurality of converting segments arranged end-to-end in a chain. Each converting segment has a semi-circular outer surface defining an arc and a planar inner surface. When the weightlifting converting device is installed on a polygonal-shaped weightlifting plate, the planar inner surface of each converting segment engages a flat outer edge of the polygonal plate, and the semi-circular outer surfaces together provide the weightlifting plate with a round outer surface.

A weight system can be used with exercise equipment to perform workout routines. The weight system can include dumbbell head covers configured to be removably coupled to the heads of the dumbbell. The head covers can be installed on different sets of dumbbells in a workout routine to provide a customized workout. The head covers can have self-cinching end portions and a tubular central portion for extending over the head of the dumbbell. The self-cinching end portions can cooperate to hold the dumbbell head while performing lifts.

This inventions generally relates to a bottle and more particularly, relates to a plastic MULTI FUNCTIONAL BOTTLE.sup.1. More specifically, it is an exercise weight bar shape inspired MULTI FUNCTIONAL.sup.2 BOTTLE. The bottle may include an upper body section and a lower body section connected with each other by a substantially cylindrical transitional section, which measurements and design allow a full grip of a closed hand. A weight object configured to be lifted from a ground surface includes a first portion made of high-durometer material, a second portion made of elastomeric material having lower durometer than the first portion, and a handle for holding the weight object and lifting the object from the ground surface, where the second portion includes spaced holes within the elastomeric material for absorbing noise generated when the weight object is dropped on the ground surface. Alternatively, a weight object is disclosed which is configured to be lifted from a ground surface, comprising at least one layer of elastomeric material having spaced holes therein for absorbing noise generated when the weight object is dropped on the ground surface, and an opening configured to receive a handle.

A sports dumbbell comprises a grip section (2), which runs along a grip shaft (L1), and a support shaft (L2) of a support section (3) spaced apart from the grip section (2) perpendicular to and running parallel to the grip shaft (L1). The support section is connected at at least one end to the grip section (2). The sports dumbbell has a center of gravity (S) which is arranged within the support section (3). A distance (d2) between the grip shaft (L1) and the support shaft (L2) is at least 11 cm, and an external shape of the sports dumbbell forms a closed annular body or open annular body.

A weight object configured to be lifted from a ground surface includes a first portion made of high-durometer material, a second portion made of elastomeric material having lower durometer than the first portion, and a handle for holding the weight object and lifting the object from the ground surface, where the second portion includes spaced holes within the elastomeric material for absorbing noise generated when the weight object is dropped on the ground surface. A weight stack isolator comprises an impact damper having a rail void therein configured to receive a guide rail of a selectorized machine. The impact damper is shaped to at least partially surround a section of the guide rail when received in the rail void, to secure the weight stack isolator to the selectorized machine. The weight stack isolator may include a slit extending from its outer perimeter to the rail void or the rail void may extend to the outer perimeter, to removably receive the guide rail in the rail void. The weight stack isolator can be positioned under a weight stack of the selectorized machine to absorb or dampen noise and vibration.

A flexible sporting apparatus includes an elongated and flexible body (2), which can be gripped, connected to the body of a person or connected to another identical or different apparatus, wherein the body (2) includes at least one flexible connection element (10, 11, 12) extending between a first end (3) and a second end (4) of the body (2), at least for a part of its length, a plurality of masses (20, 21, 22), distributed between the first end (3) and the second end (4) of the body (2), joined integrally to the at least one connection element (10, 11, 12) so that their position, in the direction of the length of the body, is maintained substantially unchanged when the apparatus is moved or bent; and optionally a containment element (30) that surrounds the at least on connection element (10, 11, 12) and the masses (20, 21, 22).

A dumbbell has a core rod and a cloth cover. The core rod has a supporting rod and a bag. The bag is mounted around the supporting rod. A first filling space is formed between the supporting rod and the bag. The first filling space is filled with a weight material. The cloth cover is mounted around the core rod and seals the core rod. The cloth cover has a holding portion and two weight portions. The two weight portions are respectively formed at two ends of the holding portion. A second filling space is formed between the core rod and the holding portion. The second filling space is filled with the weight material. A respective third filling space is formed between the core rod and each one of the two weight portions.

A running device and method of using the device are disclosed. The device may include a moveable material within an inner chamber of the running device's housing. In operation, a running device may be held in each hand and the runner may thrust both hands downward prior to landing and quickly bring the devices to a vertical stop after landing. Bringing the devices to a vertical stop may cause the moveable material to collide with the housing and increase the force exerted by the runner on the ground. A delay component may delay the peak force exerted by the material against the housing so that the translation of that force to the ground coincides with the peak force that the runner would have exerted against the ground in the absence of the devices.
