Exercise mat, entertainment device and method of interaction between them
An exercise system includes a flexible exercise mat having a flexible body and a plurality of lights incorporated into the flexible body and visible in use on a surface of the flexible body. The system also includes an entertainment device having an input to receive a captured video image of a scene with the flexible exercise mat having the lights visible thereon. An image processor of the entertainment device detects positions of the lights within the image, and a processing device calculates a configuration of shape adopted by the exercise mat based upon the detected positions of the lights. In one mode, the lights are arranged to indicate a configuration of shape adopted by the exercise mat due to a surface upon which it has been placed. The entertainment device modifies a behaviour of an application in response to the configuration of shape of the exercise mat.
EXERCISE MACHINE AND USER INTERFACE FOR EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine may include a tower enclosing, at least in part, a cable and pulley system, a base supporting the tower on a surface, and a plurality of handles operatively coupled to the cable and pulley system and configured to extend from the tower. The exercise machine may include a resistance motor operatively coupled to the cable and pulley system. The resistance motor may include a fan and a flywheel connected to a common shaft. The exercise machine may be operatively associated with a user interface which includes an exercise display area configured to activate one or more exercise indicators in a predetermined sequence and a control area including at least one mode control operable to change the sequence of activation of the one or more exercise indicators. The user interface may be provided on a console of the exercise machine.
YOGA TOWEL
A yoga towel with mat retaining elements can provide a capability to receive and retain a mat. By attaching the mat with the yoga towel, the yoga towel can stay on the yoga mat more effectively. This disclosure includes various types of mat retaining elements. First, a mat retaining element can be a strap located near the middle of a mat. The strap allows for a mat to slide between the strap and a portion of the yoga towel. Second, a mat retaining element can be a pocket located near at least one end of the yoga towel. The pocket can be limited to one side of the mat. The pocket can also be on both sides of the mat. While the yoga towel can include mat retaining elements, the yoga towel can be used without a mat, in some embodiments, and can function as a mat, for example.

Low friction rehabilitation board with an integral band retaining feature and methods of rehabilitation
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
EXERCISE DEVICE
Provided is an exercise device including a planar support surface and a rolling joint which is configured to enable a 360° range of motion for the exercise device. In this regard, the user may roll the exercise device along a planar surface in a forward-and-backward motion, a side-to-side motion, or in an arcuate or circular motion.
Free-standing a-frame exercise equipment cabinet
A free-standing A-frame exercise equipment cabinet comprising a first portion of the free-standing A-frame exercise equipment cabinet configured to removably house first exercise weight plates of a plurality of different sizes and a plurality of different weights. A second portion of the cabinet is configured to house a computer screen display. A third portion of the cabinet is configured to house at least one camera, one or more processors, and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the cabinet to present a display on the computer screen display housed in the second portion of the cabinet. A fourth portion of the cabinet is configured to removably house at least one barbell and a plurality of dumbbells. A fifth portion of the cabinet comprises four legs of the cabinet that allow the cabinet to stand upright without additional support.
Protective Cover for exercise equipment
The invention is directed to a protective cover for exercise equipment. The cover is of two ply construction and is comprised of an upper layer manufactured from a soft, absorbent fabric material such as terrycloth, and a bottom layer which is manufactured from a water-resistant material such as nylon fabric. The cover is easily secured to the corners of a weightlifting bench or similar surface, with nylon drawstrings, elastic cords, hook-and-loop fasteners, or some similar type of fastener. Preferably, the upper layer is removable for laundering purposes.
