WRIST SUPPORT DEVICE
A support device for protecting one or more portions of a user's hand or arm by limiting movement thereof includes a base surface for contacting a floor or other object adjacent to the device, a curved support surface extending from the base surface, and a plurality or orifices formed in the support surface. A user's fingers and thumb can be placed through the orifices to allow the palm of the hand to rest on a portion of the support surface, suspending the heel of the hand above the support device and aligning the user's wrist with the heel. The fingers may remain freely suspended within the device.
EXERCISE APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
An exercise system enabling a user to safely, consistently, and restorably move from a first position to a second, desired position, and back to the first position. The exercise system may enable a user to engage their abdominal, latissimus, gluteal, biceps, triceps, spinal, pectoral, and other muscles. The exercise system may include arms arcuately extending from a central base, the arms including multiple restoration/tension bands coupled to the arms and central base at different locations to provide both resistance of arcuate movement away from the base (user moving from a first position) and arcuate restoration forces back towards the base during the completion of an exercise movement or set (user moving back to the first position after reaching a desired second position).
CORE MUSCLE THERAPY APPARATUS
A core muscle therapy apparatus is presented. The apparatus is designed to work the muscles comprising the core of a user by allowing the user's own body weight to resist the force of gravity in up to a 360 degree environment. The core muscle therapy apparatus has a base, a cage assembly, and a seat assembly.
Mobility, muscle, and coordination development apparatus
An apparatus for improving mobility and helping develop back, neck, arm, core and leg muscle strength and coordination is provided. The apparatus may include a body portion comprising a first layer and a second layer and be configured to slide on a floor surface. A method for improving mobility of a user is also provided.
Multi-Use Stretching and Exercising Device
The multi-use stretching and exercising device is comprised of a non-elastic strap, with removable comfort support pad and two affixed hand finger grip mounts. The strap having a left end and right end is affixed at the left end by a hand finger grip mount and at the right end by another hand finger grip mount. The device is capable of being set in motion in response to a force acting upon both opposing hand finger grip mounts while the strap with removable comfort support is in contact with the head, leg, arm or overhead structure.
PELVIS TRAINING DEVICE
A pelvis exercising system including: a movable seat, sized and shaped to support a user by his pelvis; a vertical supporter which supports the seat above the ground; a flexible connector mounted between the vertical supporter and the seat; wherein, the seat comprises a front portion and a rear portion extending upwardly away from a central arch, each of the rear and front portions comprises a length which is long enough to support a front portion and rear portion of the user's pelvis, while not significantly restricting the abdomen and lower back from bending in relation to a sagittal plane of the seat. A sensor positioned to measure movement of said seat relative to a base, wherein the sensor provides measured values of the seat relative to the base to a processor; and the processor controls a device based on the measured values. Related apparatus and methods are also described.
WEARABLE RESISTANCE DEVICE WITH POWER MONITORING
Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable biomechanics units and or resistance modules. The garment may provide resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and or tracks a variety of biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing or athletic uniform. The device may be worn as a supplemental training and or diagnostic tool during conventional training protocols, or as a biomechanics or biometric data capture device during competition.
JOINT SEPARATOR FOR BODY ALIGNMENT
A spinal treatment system includes a traction device, an exercise device adapted for imparting curvature to the lumbar or sacral spine of a user and for manipulating the spine and intervertebral discs with decompression force, and a cushion coupled to the traction device and configured to bear against one or both of a head of the user and the thoracic spine of the user. The exercise device includes a frame for placement on the floor. A pad or inflatable bladder is carried by the top surface of the frame. A body strap attachment portion encompasses the thoracic-sacral spinal vertebrae region of the user and secures the frame to the user. The cushion includes one or more pad sections or inflatable bladder sections.
Pilates Exercise Machine
In one aspect of the present exercise machine, an assembly is attached to the end of a reformer, where the assembly comprises a seat mechanism and a pedal mechanism. The seat mechanism has a seat, a bracket supporting the seat, and a height adjustment system, where activation of the height adjustment system permits selective adjustment and locking of the height of the seat and the bracket by restricting travel of the seat and bracket to a slanted path that is slanted relative to the vertical. The pedal mechanism has an axle, a first pedal arm with a first pedal, and a second pedal arm with a second pedal. The pedal mechanism is located directly beneath the seat when the seat mechanism is in a lowest position and partially exposed in a higher position.
Exercise Apparatus
A portable exercise apparatus in the shape of a square having a handle at either side, which handles are arranged rotatable on spindles such that the user can impart movement on said apparatus without changing his/her grip.
