Lower back exercise apparatus
A lower back exercise apparatus exercises or imparts laterally and upwardly directed movements into a user's lower back when seated thereupon. The lower back exercise apparatus includes a lower base assembly, an upper seat assembly, and a motor assembly. The lower base assembly includes an upper, laterally concave base surface. The upper seat assembly includes a lower, laterally convex seat surface and an upper seat surface. The upper seat assembly is laterally ridable upon and movable relative to the lower base assembly. The motor assembly is drives a laterally directed, cylindrical arc length trajectory of the upper seat assembly relative to the lower base assembly. The concave and convex surfacing have a common radius of curvature with a common fulcrum point spatially located adjacent an upper portion of a user's lumbar spinal region. Lateral flexion is thus imparted into a user's lower back when a user is seated thereupon.
JOINT SEPARATOR FOR BODY ALIGNMENT
A spinal treatment system includes a traction device, an exercise device adapted for imparting curvature to the lumbar or sacral spine of a user and for manipulating the spine and intervertebral discs with decompression force, and a cushion coupled to the traction device and configured to bear against one or both of a head of the user and the thoracic spine of the user. The exercise device includes a frame for placement on the floor. A pad or inflatable bladder is carried by the top surface of the frame. A body strap attachment portion encompasses the thoracic-sacral spinal vertebrae region of the user and secures the frame to the user. The cushion includes one or more pad sections or inflatable bladder sections.
Spinal cord and meninges stretching frame and method to prevent and treat the root cause of scoliosis
The progress of what has previously been considered idiopathic scoliosis it is arrested and corrected by exercises that gradually stretch the spinal cord to catch and keep up with bone growth. An inventive frame enables such exercises by precluding the movement of the spinal column that is a result of the shorter spinal cord.
Core muscle exercise system
An exercise system is provided for enabling a user to perform therewith a modified plank exercise, the exercise system includes: a top element having an interface for the user to hold or rest thereon; and a bottom element having an interface with a ground surface, the top and bottom elements interconnected and separated from each other with a middle element. At least one of the top and bottom elements is interchangeably coupled to the middle element, and the exercise system includes at least one element of instability that is overcome by involving core muscles of the user.
Isometric exercise and stretching apparatus
Apparatus for physical exercise comprises a central post (which may be triangular tubular in cross-section, formed by the three walls); at least three roots protruding generally horizontally in differing directions from the base of the post; and at least three branches that protrude generally horizontally from the post at differing heights and in differing directions, wherein the at least three branches are composed of fibrous material with the fibers oriented generally along the lengths of the branches.
Rotational and linear resistance force exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus with an adjustable rotating element around which a force transferring material wraps either clockwise or counterclockwise to provide bidirectional rotational resistance for exercising. The force transferring material is preferably guided to remain in close proximity to the rotating element while wrapping around the rotating element.
MULTIPLE MOVEMENT EXERCISE DEVICE
Disclosed is an exercise device for allowing multiple exercise movements. The device includes a substantially cube-shaped frame, and a unit for doing exercise movements on at least one side of the frame.
Multidimensional Mobilization of Lumbar, Pelvic, and Hip Joints
A device for multidimensional mobilization of lumbar, pelvic, and hip joints with a generally concave upper surface connected to a generally convex lower surface is disclosed, wherein the generally concave upper surface has a recess to cradle a sacrum.
Inversion table with an ankle locking system
An inversion table includes a supporting stand having a first interlocking member, and a tilt inversion mechanism. The tilt inversion mechanism includes an inversion unit pivoted on the supporting stand, a feet holding unit, and a locking unit having a second interlocking member disposed on the inversion unit. The tilt inversion mechanism is operable relative to the supporting stand such that the feet holding unit is disengaged from the locking unit in a non-reversible state, and that the feet holding unit is engaged with the locking unit in a reversible state.
PNEUMATIC JOINT SEPARATOR FOR LOWER BODY ALIGNMENT
A leg muscle, abdominal muscle, and spinal exercise device adapted for imparting curvature to a lumbar or sacral spine of a user and for manipulating the spine and intervertebral discs with decompression force includes a frame for placement on a floor. The frame has a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the top surface and bottom surface are in a spaced apart relationship forming a hollow portion there between. At least one inflatable bladder is carried by the top surface of the frame. A body strap attachment passes through the frame in non-fixed relationship and is partially disposed within the hollow portion for encompassing the user's thoracic-sacral spinal region and securing said frame. An elongate stirrup strap member is attachable to the body strap attachment thereby connecting to the user's spinal region. A stirrup is attachable to the stirrup strap member distal end.
