Top emission organic EL element and manufacturing method thereof

A top emission organic EL element includes a substrate, an insulating layer including a hole portion, a lower electrode, a light emitting layer, a bank surrounding the lower electrode and the light emitting layer, and an upper transparent electrode. The insulating layer, the lower electrode, the light emitting layer, the bank, and the upper transparent electrode are disposed above the substrate. The bank is arranged on the insulating layer so as to surround the hole portion. The lower electrode is configured to cover an inner side of the hole portion and an area, where the bank is not arranged, of an upper surface of the insulating layer, and a thickness at a center area of the lower electrode is 150 nm or more.

Synchronized piezoelectric and luminescence material including ligands with piezoelectric property and light-emitting particles

A synchronized piezoelectric and luminescence (SPL) material includes a core layer including light-emitting particles and a shell layer which is attached onto a surface of the core layer and includes ligands having a piezoelectric property. Therefore, a piezoelectric property and a luminescent property can be simultaneously implemented using a single SPL material in which piezoelectric ligands and light-emitting particles are chemically coupled.

Light-emitting device, display device, and electronic device with color conversion layers

A light-emitting device, an electronic device, and a display device each consume less power are provided. The light-emitting device includes a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, and a third light-emitting element that share an EL layer. The EL layer includes a layer containing a light-emitting material that emits blue fluorescence and a layer containing a light-emitting material that emits yellow or green phosphorescence. Light emitted from the second light-emitting element enters a color filter layer or a second color conversion layer, and light emitted from the third light-emitting element enters a first color conversion layer.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DEVICE COMPRISING HALIDE PEROVSKITE ACTIVE LAYER, AND POWER GENERATION DEVICES

A power generation device manufacturing method and a power generation device are proposed. In one embodiment, the method includes (a) forming a halide perovskite active layer on a flexible substrate bent by a stress applied thereto and (b) releasing the stress applied to the substrate on which the halide perovskite active layer is formed, thereby unfolding the bent substrate. By applying a strain to the active layer of the power generation device and controlling the same, using the method described above, it is possible to improve the performance of the power generation device without changing the composition of the active layer or the configuration of the device.
