Improvements in a calf secured sit-up punching targets to provide an exercise device that allows a user to punch as they perform a sit-up or crunch. This allows a user to combine two exercises at the same time. The exercise uses stomach muscles in the crunch, arms in punching and allows for targeting punches. The targets are secured to a sock and skeletal frame that is securable to the lower leg or calf area of a user. The target(s) are on surface pads or on a shaft that extends from the leg support. The shaft has rotational pins to the target that can be arranged for front punches, angled punches or side roundhouse punches. The targets are on removable flex shaft that rotates and flexes or rotates to absorb some of the impact and the target can then return to a neutral position.

Methods and systems for providing a fitness experience to a user. The system comprises a punching bag defining an outer non-planar surface adapted to receive strikes of the user, a sensor configured to generate data about strikes applied by the user on the punching bag, an image projecting device configured to project a dynamic content on the outer non-planar surface of the punching bag and processor communicably connected to the sensor and the image projecting device. The processor is configured to dynamically adjust the dynamic content projected on the outer non-planar surface based at least in part on data provided by the sensor.

A training system for martial arts training, comprising: (a) a vertical primary support frame configured to be fixed to a ground; (b) a secondary frame slidable vertically on the primary support frame and lockable on the primary support frame at a desired height; (c) a plurality of linear actuators joined to the secondary frame, each linear actuator having an end configured to extend and retract; (d) a plurality of hitting pads, each of the hitting pads being joined to the end of a respective one of the linear actuators; (e) a control apparatus connected to the plurality of linear actuators and configured to control a position of the end of each linear actuator, thereby controlling the position of the hitting pads; (f) a plurality of sensors operatively connected to respective linear actuators and in communication with the control apparatus, the sensors being for sensing impacts to respective hitting pads.

A boxing trainer includes a housing and a controller. The housing includes a plurality of targets. Each of the plurality of targets includes a target pad and a light operable to illuminate the target pad. The controller includes a plurality of target commands. Each target command is linked to and corresponds with one of the targets. Therefore, activating one of the target commands will activate the light of one of the target pads that the target command is linked with.

In one general aspect, a method includes providing a user interface that displays a plurality of impact zones, the plurality of impact zones corresponding to a plurality of impact zones on an impact apparatus configured to generate voltage in response to an impact. Some implementations may include determining whether a location is a target location. Implementations can score an impact according to its magnitude, location, and/or response time.

The present invention concerns generally with exercise athletic devices. Particularly, the present invention is directed at a device equipped with punch-absorbing striking pads for practicing punching and striking. More specifically, the present invention is directed at a device equipped with punch-absorbing striking pads and attached to a conventional treadmill; thus, allowing a user to practice punching and striking while standing, walking or running on a treadmill.
