Insulated conductor and insulated conductor manufacturing method
An insulated conductor of the present invention is an insulated conductor having a conductor and an insulating film provided on a surface of the conductor, in which the insulating film has a low-concentration fluorine layer disposed on a surface side of the conductor and a high-concentration fluorine layer disposed on at least a part of an outside surface of the low-concentration fluorine layer, the low-concentration fluorine layer includes a cured product of a thermosetting resin and a fluororesin and has a fluorine atom content relatively lower than that of the high-concentration fluorine layer, and the high-concentration fluorine layer includes a cured product of a thermosetting resin and a fluororesin and has a fluorine atom content relatively higher than that of the low-concentration fluorine layer.
POLYMER FOR POWER CABLE INSULATION
A multimodal polyethylene composition having a lower molecular weight (LMW) ethylene homo or copolymer component (A) and a higher molecular weight ethylene copolymer component (B); wherein the lower molecular weight component comprises: (ai) a first fraction which comprises an ethylene homo or copolymer of ethylene and one or more C3-10 alpha olefins; and (aii) a N second fraction which comprises a different ethylene homo or copolymer of ethylene and one or more C3-10 alpha olefins; wherein the multimodal polymer composition has a density of 930 kg/m.sup.3 or more (ISO1183), such as 938 to 955 kg/m.sup.3, an MFR2 (ISO1133 at 190° C. and 2.16 kg load) in the range of 0.05 to 10 g/10 min, and a flexural modulus of up to 800 MPa, such as 300 to 800 MPa (ISO 178:2010).

A medium voltage electric cable having a conductor, an inner semi-conductive layer, an insulating layer, an outer semi-conductive layer, a wire metal screen, a filler layer made from an extruded elastomeric low smoke zero halogen (LSOH) composition containing a polyethylene homopolymer and/or copolymer having a density lower than 0.93 g/cm.sup.3 and a metal hydroxide, and an outer sheath made from a low smoke zero halogen (LSOH) composition containing a polymer mixture of an EVA polymer and polyethylene homopolymer and/or copolymer having a density lower than 0.93 g/cm.sup.3, the polymer mixture being charged with a metal hydroxide and a phyllosilicate clay.
Dielectric-heating bonding film and bonding method using dielectric-heating bonding film
A dielectric welding film capable of achieving a tight welding through a short period of dielectric heating, and a welding method using the dielectric welding film are provided. The dielectric welding film is configured to weld a pair of adherends of the same material or different materials through dielectric heating, the dielectric welding film including a thermoplastic resin as an A component and a dielectric filler as a B component and satisfying the conditions (i) and (ii): (i) a melting point or softening point measured in accordance with JIS K 7121 (1987) is in a range from 80 to 200 degrees C.; and (ii) heat of fusion measured in accordance with JIS K 7121 (1987) is in a range from 1 to 80 J/g.
POLYOLEFIN COMPOSITION

AUTOMOTIVE COMMUNICATIONS CABLE
A communications cable is provided that includes a pair of twisted pair of wires, each coated with a fluoropolymer insulator. The twisted pair of wires is configured to carry a differential signal, such as a differential data signal and/or a differential power signal. The fluoropolymers are highly effective insulators and significantly reduce both the effects of internal and external electromagnetic interference while maintaining low cable attenuation (Insertion Loss), even when operating within a temperature range of −40° C. to 150° C.
AUTOMOTIVE COMMUNICATIONS CABLE
A communications cable is provided that includes a pair of twisted pair of wires, each coated with a fluoropolymer insulator. The twisted pair of wires is configured to carry a differential signal, such as a differential data signal and/or a differential power signal. The fluoropolymers are highly effective insulators and significantly reduce both the effects of internal and external electromagnetic interference while maintaining low cable attenuation (Insertion Loss), even when operating within a temperature range of −40° C. to 150° C.
