Exercise Machine Handle System
An exercise machine which allows for a wide range of exercises while maintaining improved balance and control for the exerciser. The exercise machine generally includes a frame having a first track, a carriage movably connected to the first track, a first platform and a second platform connected to the frame, a first stationary handle extending upwardly from the upper surface of the first platform, and a second stationary handle extending upwardly from the upper surface of the first platform.
Exercise machine with electromagnetic resistance selection
An exercise machine with electromagnetic resistance selection for changing exercise resistance settings by engaging more or fewer resistance biasing members using a electromagnets. An example implementation includes a movable carriage configured to move substantially along the length of one or more rails. A plurality of resistance biasing members are removably attachable between a stationary biasing member bracket affixed to the machine structure and the movable carriage. A controller changes the resistance settings against the movable carriage by electrically attaching or detaching any preferred number of resistance biasing members between the machine structure and movable carriage.
Upper and lower body press exercise machine
A machine for concurrently or independently performing pressing motions with the hands and feet, the machine having a base having front and back ends, two or more linear slide rails, a lower body user support with an engagement means for the user's feet and an upper body user support with an engagement means for the user's hands. The upper body user support and lower body user support slide on the linear rails that are located proximally on opposing ends of the base frame and the upper body user supports and the lower body user supports cooperate with one another to move in opposing converging and diverging sloping linear movement patterns during operation of the machine.
EXERCISE APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
An exercise system enabling a user to safely, consistently, and restorably move from a first position to a second, desired position, and back to the first position. The exercise system may enable a user to engage their abdominal, latissimus, gluteal, biceps, triceps, spinal, pectoral, and other muscles. The exercise system may include arms arcuately extending from a central base, the arms including multiple restoration/tension bands coupled to the arms and central base at different locations to provide both resistance of arcuate movement away from the base (user moving from a first position) and arcuate restoration forces back towards the base during the completion of an exercise movement or set (user moving back to the first position after reaching a desired second position).
Exercise Device with a Gliding Element
In one embodiment, an exercise device includes a base. The base further includes a first side, a second side opposite the first side, an edge that joins the first side and the second side, at least one gliding element connected to the second side, a pivot joint connected to the edge, and a handle connected to the pivot joint.
Mobility, muscle, and coordination development apparatus
An apparatus for improving mobility and helping develop back, neck, arm, core and leg muscle strength and coordination is provided. The apparatus may include a body portion comprising a first layer and a second layer and be configured to slide on a floor surface. A method for improving mobility of a user is also provided.
Respiratory training system
A system for respiratory training including a housing, a respiratory air channel disposed within the housing, a sensor configured to detect a breathing indicator and transmit a breathing indicator signal, a haptic device disposed within the housing, a processor operatively coupled to the sensor and the haptic device, and a memory device operatively coupled to the processor. The memory device includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive the breathing indicator signal from the sensor; generate a breath determination based on the breathing indicator signal; and responsive to the breath determination, cause the haptic device to generate a vibration.
Exercise machine carriage handle system
An exercise machine carriage handle system for providing handles for an exerciser to grasp with their hands thereby expanding the type of exercises that may be performed. The exercise machine carriage handle system generally includes a frame having a track, a carriage movably connected to the track, a bias member connected between the frame and the carriage, a first handle connected to the carriage near the first side, and a second handle connected to the carriage near the second side. The first handle and second handle are adapted for grasping with a first hand and a second hand respectively of a user during the performance of an exercise on the exercise machine.
System and Method of Using Two Exercise Machines
A system and method of using two exercise machines for performing a wide range of exercise movements that utilize both of the exercise machines in concert. The system and method of using two exercise machines generally includes first exercise machine and a second exercise machine which are used in concert to perform a wide range of exercise movements. The first exercise machine may include a track, a carriage movably connected to the track, and an end platform. The second exercise machine may include its own separate track, a carriage movably connected to the track, and an end platform. The exercise machines may be positioned side-to-side in parallel orientation such that an exerciser may perform various exercise moves by positioning different limbs on the respective carriages, end platforms, and/or tracks of the exercise machines, in addition to the surface underlying the exercise machines.
MULTIPURPOSE EXERCISE BENCH
The disclosed exercise benches comprise a rigid structure having an interior cavity, with portions of the structure covered in a durable exercise friendly fabric and an underlayment of foam for padding. The benches have a generally horizontal base for resting on the floor or ground using anti-skid pads. The base is rectangular with the longer sides each connecting to opposed sides having inclined surfaces providing structural support for a generally horizontal top surface. In one embodiment the top surface may be pivotably connected to enable lifting of the top surface engageable with an adjustable support member located in the cavity to hold the top surface in place in an inclined position. In multiple embodiments fasteners, such as a D-rings are positioned on the sides of the bench for attaching to exercise resistance bands. In one embodiment vertical end walls have an opening with a fabric liner formed inwardly forming an interior fabric for storage. A D-Ring fastener may be attached to the end walls to connect to exercise resistance bands. The benches may have interior structures to support speakers incorporated into the benches.
