HARVESTING HEAD WITH YIELD MONITOR
A harvesting head yield monitor comprises two sensing elements (328, 330) respectively disposed in two adjacent row unit covers (114). A driver circuit (400) drives one of these sensing elements (328) to produce a high radio frequency signal. The other sensing element (330) receives the signal. A signal conditioning circuit (402) receives the signal from the other sensing element. A controller (404) coupled to the signal conditioning circuit converts the received signal into a signal that indicates the crop yield of the row unit that is disposed underneath the two adjacent row unit covers.
Crop Loss Inhibiting Device
A crop loss inhibiting device directs air flow upwardly into cut plants to prevent crops from falling to the ground prior to being collected by a combine. The device includes a combine having a head including a skid plate and a plurality of spaced cutting projections extending forwardly from the skid plate. The combine has a collector positioned rearwardly from the spaced cutting projections wherein the collector receives and collects plants cut by the spaced cutting projections. Each of a pair of manifold tubes is coupled to the combine rearwardly of the spaced cutting projections. Each of the manifold tubes has a plurality of holes facing upwardly away from the spaced cutting projections. A blower is coupled to the manifold tubes creating air flow out through the holes such that the air flow inhibits crops from falling to the ground prior to being collected by the collector.
Integrated Reversing System with Belt Engagement
An agricultural harvester has a header and feeder drive system including a forward belt drive arrangement and a reverse belt drive arrangement. The forward belt drive arrangement includes a forward drive belt and a forward belt drive tensioner operated by an actuator. The reverse belt drive arrangement includes a reversing motor and a reverse drive belt selectively engaged with the feeder drive system by operation of the same actuator.

Agricultural harvester
An agricultural harvester includes a harvester body, a header which is adapted for harvesting a crop, a feeder house which is adapted to receive said harvested crop from the header, a header adapter which is arranged between the header and the feeder house, which header adapter is adapted to allow the header to pivot relative to the feeder house about a horizontal pivot axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the header. A first actuator has a first end that is pivotably connected to the feeder house and a second end that is pivotably connected to the header adapter. A second actuator has a first end and a second end, which first end is pivotably connected to the harvester body. A coupling device is pivotably connected to the second end of the second actuator, the feeder house and the header adapter.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING AN AGRICULTURAL HEADER
An agricultural system includes a controller comprising a memory and a processor, wherein the controller is configured to receive data from a first and second sensor, each of which are mounted on an agricultural header and configured to output data indicative of one-dimensional (1D) distances. The controller is configured to determine a first horizontal distance from the first sensor to a first plant stalk and a second horizontal distance from the second sensor to a second plant stalk based on the 1D distance data. The controller is also configured to control a steering system of the agricultural system to adjust a position of the agricultural header relative to the first and second plant stalks based on a difference between the first horizontal distance and the second horizontal distance.
AGRICULTURAL HEADER WITH DOLLY CARRIED BY GAUGE WHEEL ARM
An agricultural header includes: a header frame; at least one cutter carried by the header frame and configured to cut crop material; and a transport assembly coupled to the header frame and including: a gauge wheel arm pivotably coupled to the header frame and pivotable between a transport position and a working position; and a dolly coupled to the gauge wheel arm and including a pair of dolly wheel mounts configured to mount a pair of wheels thereto. The dolly is coupled to the gauge wheel arm such that the dolly is carried by the gauge wheel arm between the transport position and the working position and is swivelable about a swivel axis extending through the gauge wheel arm when the gauge wheel arm is in the transport position.

Header latch mechanism for agricultural vehicle
A latching mechanism for securing a header to an agricultural vehicle has latching pins located on opposite sides of a centerline of the vehicle. The latching pins are movable between latched and unlatched positions from the same side of the machine. As one example, the harvester is an agricultural combine harvester and the header mounts to a feederhouse. The latching mechanism can be mounted to the feederhouse and moved into and out of engagement with the header to retain or remove the header.
