Quick connect device with transverse release
A known quick connect electrical connector has plug which has a spindle through which a rod is passed. Metal balls are contained within the spindle and can be pushed radially outwardly by a widened portion of the rod to lock the spindle to a passage in a corresponding socket. To separate the plug and socket, the rod must be pushed to move the widened portion away from the balls. To accomplish this, a cam follower is attached to the rod. Slide supports are attached to the plug. A lever slides within the slide supports and has a cam surface which pushes the cam follower when the lever is slid within the slide supports. When the cam follower is pushed, it moves the rod to enable the metal balls to move radially inwards to release the plug from the socket.
Electric vehicle fastening and charging system with wireless control
An electric vehicle fastening and charging combined system for a charging and storage station, such as those used for bicycle or scooter sharing programs, where a multi-purpose cable extends between the charging and storage station and the electric vehicle, and serves to fasten the electric vehicle to the charging and storage station to prevent removal or theft of the electric vehicle, and to conduct electricity to charge the electric vehicle, and wherein the fastening and/or detaching of the cable is controlled by a wireless signal.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
An electronic cigarette includes a battery module and an atomizing module. The battery module is provided with a battery joint surface. The atomizing module is provided with an atomizing joint surface. The atomizing joint surface is provided with a guide rib, and the battery joint surface is provided with a guide groove, or the atomizing joint surface is provided with a guide groove, and the battery joint surface is provided with a guide rib. The guide rib is fitted in the guide groove so that the battery module and the atomizing module are assembled together.
Method for validation of a fuse head in an electronic detonator
A method for the validation of a fuse head in an electronic detonator is disclosed, the method including measuring at least once a first charge time; activating a switching means to a second position to replace a reference resistor in an RC circuit with the fuse head; measuring at least once a second charge time; and determining the deviation of the second charge time from the first charge time.
Method of Connecting Electrical Components
A connector receptacle for connecting with a corresponding connector plug coupled with electrodes being used for performing EMG procedure on a patient is provided. The receptacle includes a first ball bearing pressing against a first end of a housing of the plug and, preferably, a second ball bearing pressing against a first end of the housing of the plug when the plug is connected to the receptacle for exerting a retention force against the plug. The first and the second ball bearings are pressed against the first and the second ends respectively by using a spring force generated, for example, by a retention band.
MANUAL ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT
A manual oral care implement comprises a handle, a connector and a head, the head being repeatedly attachable to and detachable from the handle via the connector. The handle has a distal end and a proximal end opposite to the distal end and adjacent to the head when the head is attached to the handle. The proximal end has an upper surface that is at least partially chamfered. The handle has a longitudinal axis and a cross-sectional area extending substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The chamfered surface and the cross-sectional area define therebetween an angle ? from about 15? to about 30?.
CONNECTOR FOR A MANUAL ORAL CARE IMPLEMENT
A connector for repeatedly attaching and detaching a head to and from a handle of a manual oral care implement has an outer surface and a recess. The recess forms a cavity within the connector, wherein the cavity comprises a spring-loaded ball-snap element, the element comprising a ball and a spring, the spring applying a radial force onto the ball in a direction towards the outer surface of the connector.
Ball And Socket Fastener For Attaching Components
A swivelable and pivotable clip fastener for attaching two or more articles together is disclosed. The articles being attached may include electrical or fluid conduits or a substrate. The swivelable and pivotable clip fastener comprises a ball and socket construction for attaching a first article to a second article. The swivelable and pivotable clip fastener is easy to use. The clip fastener may be produced by additive manufacturing or a one-shot injection molding process. The ball and socket arrangement allows 360 degrees of rotation and pivoting of one article relative to the other. One or more slots are formed in the ball. The socket includes anti-release arms that are offset from one another. Optionally, the ball may be formed from a first material and the socket may be formed from a second material. A flash gate may attach the ball to the socket when the ball and socket are formed.
Electrical connection and termination assemblies
An electrical cable termination assembly includes a crimp body configured for electrically connecting a conductive core of an electrical cable to a conductive pin. The crimp body is further configured to receive the conductive core at a first end thereof and the conductive pin at a second end thereof. The assembly further includes a locking sleeve that is located radially outwardly of the crimp body and is movable relative to the crimp body between a locking position and an unlocking position.
Electrical adapter with integral connector
An Edison lamp holder adapter for adapting an electrical quick connect for connection to the lamp holder. The adapter includes an external housing and a ball shaped internal housing translating within the external housing. The external housing has lateral conductors formed with a resilient upper detent and a resilient lower detent, wherein the ball shaped internal housing selectively snaps into one of the detents. When the ball shaped internal housing resides within the upper detent, the electrical conductors of the adapter contact the internal conductors of the lamp holder to complete the circuit.
