The brush holder and the transmission housing can be concentrically oriented to the motor pot. In addition, the present disclosure refers to a sunroof for a vehicle with a motor transmission connection arrangement of this type as well as a vehicle with such a motor transmission connection arrangement.
DC MOTOR BRUSH HOLDER ASSEMBLY
A bus bar engaged with each brush holder and electrically connected to positive brushes. A rotor has coils and protrusions extending in an outward direction and electrically connecting the coils to commutator segments. Each brush portion end surface faces the outward direction, the bus bar has an engagement portion with an end facing the inward direction, and the end of the engagement portion is further in the outward direction than the end surface portion. The brush has an end facing the first direction, the bus bar has an end facing a second direction, and the end of the bus bar is further in the second direction than the end of the brush facing the first direction. Each protrusion end faces the second direction, and the end of the bus bar facing the first direction is further in the second direction than the end of the protrusion facing the second direction.
BRUSH HOLDER FOR ELECTRICAL CONTACT BRUSHES
The present inventive concept relates to a brush holder for electrical machines comprising a clamping piece comprising a first mounting part and a second clamping part, which when assembled define a clamping hole, which is adapted to be assembled around a spindle; and two brush holder arms, wherein a proximal end of said arm is pivotally mounted on the first mounting part of said clamping piece, and wherein a distal end of said arm is adapted to receive and retain a brush, and wherein said arms have an upper side which is opposite to a lower side facing a slip ring; at least one biasing spring which spring is adapted to act upon said brush holder arms in such a way that said brush holder arms move pivotally towards a slip ring, and when in use presses said brushes against the slip ring; at least one conductive wire connecting the brush to the clamping piece; and wherein a brush holder arm locking mechanism is arranged at or along the upper side of each respective brush holder arm, that said locking mechanism is adapted to be inserted into a slot arranged in the second clamping part; and wherein a brush locking pin is arranged to retain the brush in said brush holder arm, which pin when in use is provided in corresponding bores arranged in the brush holder arm and the brush, wherein said brush locking pin comprises a pipe portion and a spring portion, wherein said spring portion is arranged inside the pipe and has a portion protruding on the outside of said pipe portion from a slot in a wall of said pipe; and wherein said mounting part of said clamping piece is provided with a brush arm stop, arranged to limit a pivot movement of the brush holder arm in a direction towards a slip ring.
POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a brush holder with a brush positioned more accurately with respect to a commutator. A grinder as a power tool includes a housing, a stator fixed to the housing, a rotor rotatable relative to the stator and including a commutator and a coil, a brush that comes in contact with the commutator, a brush-holding metal plate having a screw hole and holding the brush, and a screw extending through the screw hole and directly fastened to the housing.
Brush assembly having multi-piece brush holders for an electric motor, brush holder main piece with flat portions between base piece and brush card mount
An electric motor is provided including: a stator, an armature rotatably received within the stator and having an armature shaft on which a commutator is mounted, and a brush assembly. The brush assembly defines a first side facing the stator and a second side. The brush assembly includes a brush card mount having openings, brushes in sliding contact with the commutator, and thermally-conductive brush holders that support the brushes. Each brush holder includes a base piece disposed between the first side of the brush assembly and the stator, and a main piece including a brush-holder portion and two side flat portions. The brush-holder portion is axially received through a brush card mount opening from the first side of the brush assembly and protrude over the second side to house a brush. The two side flat portions are axially sandwiched between the base piece and the brush card mount.
BRUSH DEVICE, ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH BRUSH DEVICE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF BRUSH DEVICE
In order to facilitate the assembly of the brush assembly and to improve the productivity, the brush device includes a positive side brush subassembly having a positive side brush for feeding a commutator, a positive side brush holder for holding the positive side brush, and a positive side plate to which the positive side brush holder is attached, and a negative side brush subassembly having a negative side brush for feeding the commutator, a negative side brush holder for holding the negative side brush, and a negative side plate to which the negative side brush holder is attached. The positive side brush subassembly and the negative side brush subassembly are combined with each other.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING THE STATUS OF ONE OR MORE COMPONENTS OF AN ELECTRICAL MACHINE
Example brush holder assemblies of an electric machine are disclosed. An example brush holder assembly of an electric machine includes a carbon brush including an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface. The brush holder assembly also includes one or more lead wires extending out of the carbon brush at an insertion point on the upper surface and a first cavity extending into the carbon brush from the upper surface at a location spaced away from the insertion point of the one or more lead wires and unobstructed by the one or more lead wires.
