Vertical bearing device
A cooling portion has an air inlet into which cooling air flows and is positioned in a preset range. When a distance from the upper to lower ends of an oil chamber in the axial direction of a rotating shaft member is h, and the shortest distance between an outer peripheral face of a casing and an inner peripheral face of a cover is a, the preset range is set in the following manner. Specifically, the preset range is set between h upward and 5/4h downward relative to the upper end of the oil chamber as a reference point, in the axial direction of the rotating shaft member. Additionally, the preset range is set between the outer peripheral face of the casing and relative to the outer peripheral face of the casing as a reference point, in the radial direction of the rotating shaft member.
Rotor Shaft Retainer
A rotor shaft retainer is described, preferably to be used in an electric pump intended for use in white line equipment, and in particular to be coupled to the upper edge of the housing of the electric pump, and capable of allowing sealing of the shaft passing therethrough. The retainer has a basically cylindrical shape and includes a disc-shaped base, externally provided with a fixing ring, and a cylindrical dome uppermost provided with an opening, defining a central passageway formed from the opening to a lower opening of the base. The central passageway includes at least two annular lips-shaped cavities projecting themselves in the inner radial direction and facing the upper opening of the retainer. The lips-shaped cavities are made of rubber having Shore A hardness from 62 to 78 and define respective angles from 38 to 58 degrees in relation to the plane of the bottom surface of the base. Such construction and characteristics lead to a sufficient seal between the shaft and the retainer and still allow the relief of the gases generated within the pump chamber, without the need for relief holes in the retainer body.
Bearing apparatus, motor, and fan motor
A bearing apparatus includes a cylindrical sleeve, a shaft rotatably inserted in the sleeve, lubricating oil arranged in a gap defined between an inner circumferential surface of the sleeve and an outer circumferential surface of the shaft, a seal member arranged at an axially upper end portion of the sleeve projecting from the sleeve, and an annular member fixed to an outer circumferential surface of the axially upper end portion of the shaft to rotate together with the shaft. The annular member includes a projecting portion projecting axially downward. The seal member and an axially lower end portion of the projecting portion overlap each other when viewed in at least one of the axial direction or a radial direction.
MOTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME
A motor according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a rotary shaft; a rotor mounted on the rotary shaft; a stator surrounding an outer periphery of the rotor; an impeller mounted on the rotary shaft to be spaced apart from the rotor; a bearing housing positioned between the impeller and the rotor and formed with a through-hole through which the rotary shaft passes; and a gas bearing disposed in the bearing housing, wherein a thickness of the gas bearing is equal to or greater than 50% of a gap between an inner surface of the bearing housing and an outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft and is equal to or less than 0.3 mm.
Bearing assembly of a motor shaft of an electric motor
A bearing assembly for a motor shaft of an electric motor having a stator. The stator is formed by a stator core having a plurality of stator laminations, which are stacked one on the other. The stator core has a first outer partial stator core, a second outer partial stator core, and a central partial stator core. The central partial stator core is arranged between the two outer partial stator cores. A continuous opening is arranged in each of the partial stator cores, in which openings bearings for supporting the motor shaft are arranged and the motor shaft is arranged. A diameter of the opening of the central partial stator core is smaller than a diameter of the opening of the outer partial stator cores such that a diameter transition from the central partial stator core to an outer partial stator core forms an axial stop for a bearing.
HIGH-SPEED HAIRDRYER BRUSHLESS MOTOR
A high-speed hairdryer brushless motor includes an outer housing, a stator assembly and a rotor assembly. The stator assembly includes a stator core and a coil assembly. The stator core includes a yoke portion and a teeth portion. The teeth portion includes an inner cylinder body and N outer teeth. The inner wall of the inner cylinder body is a complete cylindrical surface. N magnetic insulating grooves are provided on the outer wall of the inner cylinder body, each magnetic insulating groove being provided axially along an entire length of the inner cylinder body. The coil assembly is wound on the outer teeth of the teeth portion. Each magnetic insulating groove is a V-shaped groove that opens toward the exterior of the inner cylinder body. The rotor assembly includes a rotating shaft and a rotor magnet. An air gap is provided between the rotor magnet and the cylindrical surface.
Adaptive manufacturing systems, methods, and devices
A hard disk drive including a base deck with a base member and side walls extending from the base member. The side walls include a non-metallic material and include a structure made from the non-metallic material. The structure is arranged to dampen vibration. The side walls can be formed using an additive manufacturing process.
