Provided are a communication device, a base station, and methods for a communication device and a base station. The communication device comprises a transceiver, which, in operation, receives wireless signals. The communication device further comprises a circuitry which, in operation, searches, in the wireless signal, for a supplementary synchronization signal, SS, in a resource different from occasions configured for a synchronization signal block, SSB, wherein the SSB comprises a primary SS, a secondary SS and a physical broadcast channel, PBCH.

Processing device, network node, client device, and methods thereof

This disclosure relates to techniques for synchronization signals. The synchronization signal comprises a primary synchronization signal (PSS) generated based on a PSS sequence and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) generated based on an SSS sequence. The SSS sequence may be generated based on a first sequence corresponding to a first cyclic shift and a second sequence corresponding to a second cyclic shift. The first cyclic shift and the second cyclic shift are associated with a Cell ID. The PSS sequence may be generated based on one of the first and the second sequences.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit a set of radar reference signals using a set of resource elements, wherein the set of radar reference signals are associated with a phase rotation corresponding to a phase ramp, wherein the phase ramp has a set of values for sets of symbols such that a first set of symbols, of the sets of symbols, is associated with a first value, of the set of values, for the phase ramp and a second set of symbols, of the sets of symbols, is associated with a second value, of the set of values, for the phase ramp. The network node may receive a response for the set of radar reference signals. Numerous other aspects are described.
