Music video game with user directed sound generation
A music based video game provides a user directed sound generation feature. In some embodiments, the user is provided a video game controller simulating a musical instrument, which the user may operate similarly to its real musical instrument counterpart. A free play feature is provided for users to operate the video game controller, where a processor of a video game console receives input signals from the video game controller and outputs audio samples based on the received input signals. During the free play feature, multiple suggestions as to how to operate the video game controller are simultaneously provided to give users some guidance as to what to play using the video game controller.
Cloud-based game slice generation and frictionless social sharing with instant play
Methods enable creation of a game slice from a game. Plurality of games is provided for presentation on a display device. Each game is identified by an image. Selection activity is detected at the image of one of the games. In response to the selection, game code of the selected game is executed to enable game play of an unlocked game. The selected game is streamed to the display device. User interaction related to the game play is received. A recording of the game play is examined to identify portions of the game for generating a game slice, which are returned in a suggested list for selection. Game slice is generated for a selected portion from the list. A recording of the game play for the game slice is associated as a primary video segment. The game slice and the primary video segment are provided for sharing over a network.
Video game testing and automation framework
An automated video game testing framework and method includes communicatively coupling an application programming interface (API) to an agent in a video game, where the video game includes a plurality of in-game objects that are native to the video game. The agent is managed as an in-game object of the video game. A test script is executed to control the agent, via the API, to induce gameplay and interrogate one or more target objects selected from the plurality of in-game objects native to the video game. Video game data indicating a behavior of the one or more target objects during the gameplay is received. Based on the received video game data, performance of the video game is evaluated.

Animation production system
To enable you to take animations in a virtual space, an animation production method comprising: a step of placing a character in a virtual space; a step of placing a virtual camera for shooting the character in the virtual space; a step of acquiring action data defining an action of the character from an external source; a step of operating the character based on the action data; and a step of shooting the action of the character by the camera.
Systems and methods for challenges between unique digital articles based on real-world information
Systems and methods to effectuate challenges between unique digital articles, the challenges being evaluated based on particular real-world information, are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may execute instances of a game; manage player accounts associated with the players, including a first and a second player account associated with a first and a second player; present a first user interface to a first player that enables the first player to define an objective for a challenge between a first and a second unique digital article, define one or more stakes for this challenge, and invite the second player to partake in this challenge, record executable code on a permanent registry to evaluate the challenge, based on real-world information; and responsive to the first or second unique digital article winning the challenge, distribute the one or more stakes to the first or second player, respectively.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING DISTRIBUTION OF IN-GAME INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO AN ONLINE GAMING PLATFORM
Systems and methods for facilitating distribution of in-game instructions pertaining to an online gaming platform are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: create an asset that includes and/or refers to a set of in-game instructions provided by a first user of the online gaming platform; receive a request, from a second user of the online gaming platform, for execution of the set of in-game instructions to facilitate a first transformation of one or more particular in-game assets; perform a first verification whether the second user owns the asset; and transform the one or more particular in-game assets into one or more particular transformed and/or new in-game assets in accordance with the set of in-game instructions and the request for the first transformation, responsive to the first verification verifying that the second user owns the asset.
Glitch feature for user edited video games
An in-game video game editing system and method is provided. An electronic processor executes a game software application to generate, on a display, a graphical gameplay interface including a plurality of sprites and a graphical editing panel listing predetermined modifications. The electronic processor receives a selection of one of the predetermined modifications ad determines a type of the predetermined modification. The type indicates whether the predetermined modification includes adding a new sprite or selecting an existing sprite. Based on the type, an existing sprite is selected from the graphical gameplay interface. The electronic processor then adds a block of code to the selected sprite based on the predetermined modification to generate a modified sprite, and executes the block of code to provide the modified sprite on the graphical gameplay interface.
Generating Expressive Speech Audio From Text Data
A system for use in video game development to generate expressive speech audio comprises a user interface configured to receive user-input text data and a user selection of a speech style. The system includes a machine-learned synthesizer comprising a text encoder, a speech style encoder and a decoder. The machine-learned synthesizer is configured to generate one or more text encodings derived from the user-input text data, using the text encoder of the machine-learned synthesizer; generate a speech style encoding by processing a set of speech style features associated with the selected speech style using the speech style encoder of the machine-learned synthesizer; combine the one or more text encodings and the speech style encoding to generate one or more combined encodings; and decode the one or more combined encodings with the decoder of the machine-learned synthesizer to generate predicted acoustic features. The system includes one or more modules configured to process the predicted acoustic features, the one or more modules comprising a machine-learned vocoder configured to generate a waveform of the expressive speech audio.
STORAGE MEDIUM STORING INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
A character is displayed in its initial state in a virtual space with at least two of a plurality of parts set as non-exposed parts that are at least partially covered by respective corresponding accessories. A playback process of playing back a scene that an accessory for one of the at least two non-exposed parts is moved such that the one of the at least two non-exposed parts is exposed, and a changing process of allowing a user to change the part exposed by the playback process, are executed serially for the at least two non-exposed parts of the character in the initial state.
