A display apparatus and a server which implements an interactive system are disclosed. The server includes a communicator which receives text information corresponding to a user voice collected at the display apparatus from the display apparatus, and a controller which extracts an utterance component from the text information and controls so that a query to search contents is generated using the extracted utterance component and transmitted to an external server which categorizes metadata of the content under each item and stores the same, in which the controller generates the query by adding a preset item to a criteria to search a content, when a number of criteria to categorize the content under an item corresponding to the extracted utterance component is less than a preset number.

A display apparatus and a server which implements an interactive system are disclosed. A MSS chunking method for an MP4 file, an MSS adapter, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are disclosed. The method may include: receiving an MSS download request for downloading of at least one MSS chunk of a first MP4 file; determining, according to MSS chunk indexes and virtual chunk indexes of the first MP4 file, data segments in the first MP4 file corresponding to data of the at least one MSS chunk, each MSS chunk index containing a playing address of a respective MSS chunk of the first MP4 file, and each virtual chunk index containing a correspondence between the data of a respective MSS chunk and a respective one of data segments of the first MP4 file; sending a data segment download request to a media server and receiving data segments; and assembling contents of the data segments to generate the at least one MSS chunk.

A content display apparatus includes: a state identifying part that identifies a state of a viewer who is to view content; an image data selecting part that selects a plurality of pieces of image data from a plurality of image data candidates on the basis of the state of the viewer identified by the state identifying part; a content generating part that generates state improvement content for improving the state of the viewer by determining an order in which to display the plurality of pieces of image data; and a display control part that causes a display part viewed by the viewer U to display the state improvement content.

Systems and methods are described to dynamically generate metadata for a live media stream. The system determines that a first user on a social media network has started a live media stream. In response, the system identifies a topic of the live media stream based on a frame of the live media stream and identifies another person featured in the frame of the live media stream based on social connections of the first user in the social media network. The system then generates a title for the live media stream based on the identified topic and the identified person, and transmits a notification to a second user that the first user is streaming live, where the notification includes the generated title.

Systems and methods are described to dynamically generate metadata for a live media stream. The system determines that a first user on a social media network has started a live media stream. In response, the system identifies a topic of the live media stream based on a frame of the live media stream and identifies another person featured in the frame of the live media stream based on social connections of the first user in the social media network. A method and apparatus for performing an integrated search is provided. An interface is provided that allows users to search and select any data related to a searchable term. Searchable terms may comprise titles of content, actors, and tags. Upon receiving results from the initial search, the user progresses through the initial search by selecting a result from the initial search and conducting a further search of that selection. The search may progress through many layers of searching in order to find information useful to the user and the user may perform actions based upon results of the search. The search implements a display with two columns, the first column displaying selectable data, and the second column displaying results to the selected data. The search is further customizable based upon a privacy level selected by the user.
