TRANSMITTING TRAFFIC STREAMS VIA MULTIPLE WLAN COMMUNICATION LINKS
A first communication device determines whether a second communication device is in a power save mode with respect to a first communication link among a plurality of communication links that correspond to respective frequency segments, and determines whether the second communication device is in a power save mode with respect to a second communication link among the plurality of communication links. The second communication device is permitted to be in the power save mode with respect to the second communication link when the second communication device is not in the power save mode with respect to the first communication link, and vice versa. The first communication device communicates with the second communication device in accordance with the power save modes of the second communication device with respect to the first and second communication links.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR RADIO COMMUNICATION
A method for an apparatus operating in a wireless communication network. The method includes: determining at least one functional safety indicator that indicates at least whether associated data, especially V2X data that comprises at least one of a vehicle operating parameter and a roadway event, or industrial data that comprises a machine operating parameter, or building technology data that comprises building operational data, is relevant according to at least one safety integrity level; and transmitting the data along with the at least one determined functional safety indicator.
METHOD AND DEVICE IN NODES USED FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
The present application provides a method and a device in nodes used for wireless communications. A first node receives first configuration information, the first configuration information being non-unicast, and the first configuration information indicating K sub-bearers; herein, K is a positive integer greater than 1; for any higher-layer packet transmitted respectively through the K sub-bearers, sequence numbers of the higher-layer packet in the K sub-bearers are the same; a first sub-bearer is one of the K sub-bearers, and a higher-layer packet transmitted in any of the K sub-bearers is transmitted through the first sub-bearer. The present application enables the users to acquire by broadcast configuration information of sub-bearers transmitting the same MBMS on different nodes or CGs, so that the same MBMS can be acquired from multiple nodes simultaneously with decreased traffic interruptions caused by inter-node mobility.
USER EQUIPMENT (UE) ASSISTED TERMINATION SELECTION FOR NON-STANDALONE OR DUAL CONNECTIVITY
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless communications system, a user equipment (UE) may determine a preference of the UE for a termination point between a core network and a radio access network (RAN), the core network and the RAN supporting communications for the UE via at least one or a first cell and a second cell each associated with a multi-connectivity mode of the UE. The UE may transmit, to a base station, an indication of the preference of the UE for the termination point. In some cases, the base station may determine the termination point based on receiving the indication of the preference of the UE, and the base station may transmit a message indicating a configuration for the multi-connectivity mode to the UE, the configuration indicating the determined termination point.
Transparent session migration between user plane functions
Systems, devices, and techniques described herein relate to migrating a communication session from a path including a stressed user plane function (UPF) to a path including a replacement UPF. A communication session may traverse a first path including the first UPF. After establishing the communication session, the first UPF may be determined to be stressed. In response, the communication session can be proactively migrated to a second path including a second UPF. According to various implementations, the existing communication session can be maintained during the migration, thereby substantially eliminating interruptions caused by the stressed first UPF.

Method, Apparatus and Device for Negotiating Traffic-to-link Mapping Configuration and Storage Medium
The embodiments of the disclosure discloses a method, apparatus and device for negotiating traffic-to-link mapping configuration and a storage medium. The method includes: sending, by a higher-layer management entity, a first traffic-to-link mapping request primitive to a lower-layer management entity; sending, by the lower-layer management entity, a first traffic-to-link mapping request message to a peer device; receiving, by the lower-layer management entity, a traffic-to-link mapping response message from the peer device; and sending, by the lower-layer management entity, a traffic-to-link mapping confirm primitive to the higher-layer management entity.
DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING INTERNET ACCESS
A device and method for facilitating network access is disclosed. The device for facilitating network access comprises: a first communication module operable to obtain the network access from a first network provider; a second communication module operable to connect to a communication device, the communication device is operable to obtain the network access from a second network provider; and a processor operable to select at least one of the first communication module and the second communication module to connect to an electronic device; wherein the processor is operable to select the at least one of the first communication module and the second communication module based on a property of a set of executable instructions capable of being accessed by the electronic device.
Group-addressed frames transmitted via multiple WLAN communication links
A first communication device determines whether a group-addressed frame is to be transmitted via multiple WLAN communication links. In response to determining that the group-addressed frame is to be transmitted via the multiple WLAN communication links, the first communication device i) transmits a first instance of the group-addressed frame via a first WLAN communication link, the first instance of the group-addressed frame having a sequence number set to a value, and ii) transmits a second instance of the group-addressed frame via a second WLAN communication link, the second instance of the group-addressed frame having a sequence number set to the value. In response to determining that the group-addressed frame is to be transmitted via only a single WLAN communication link, the first communication device transmits the group-addressed frame only via the single WLAN communication link.
Communication method and apparatus
Embodiments of this application relate to the field of communications technologies, and disclose communications methods and apparatuses. In an implementation, a method comprising receiving, by a first communications device, information about a radio bearer (RB) of a heterogeneous communications system, wherein a duplication operation for the RB is configured by a second communications device, and the first communications device and the second communications are comprised in a master node or a secondary node; generating, by the first communications device, an activation indication indicating whether to activate or deactivate the duplication operation of the RB, wherein whether to activate or deactivate the duplication operation is determined by the first communications device; and sending the activation indication to a terminal device.
