A lighting control system that includes a first transceiver in a controller device for IEEE 802 connection to a routed mesh network that connects the control device to a luminaire. The routed mesh network is based on an IEEE 802 standard and includes a first WiFi connection of the controller device to a router, a second WiFi connection of the router to a gateway, and a gateway connection from the gateway to the luminaire. The lighting control system further includes a second transceiver based on Bluetooth radio frequency standard, the second network including a first Bluetooth connection between the controller device and the luminaire, and a second network connection between the controller device and the gateway. The lighting control system further includes a data exchange application run from the controller device for sharing address information for the gateway and the luminaires between the first and second network.

Incoming call signal reception means receives an incoming call signal including a caller number, caller information, and ring type information. Image generation means generates, based on the incoming call signal, a caller information image including at least a portion of the caller information as character information. Telephone dictionary registering means registers the caller number, caller text information, and the caller information image in a telephone dictionary. A wireless communication method and protocol for wireless RF transmission of data, e.g. audio data, with low latency. The method involves a fixed part (FP) serving as synchronization master, and one or more portable parts (PP) being synchronization slaves. The FP performs scanning between a set of supported channels within one limited frequency band, such as within an ISM band. Further, the FP performs collecting measures of RF interference level on at least a plurality of the supported channels in response to the scanning, preferably using own interference level measurement and by collecting RSSI data from the PP for the supported channels. In response to these measures of RF interference level, the FP executes a selection algorithm for selecting and re-selecting first and second different frequencies for respective first and second duplex RF bearers from the set of supported channels to select the channels with least RF interference. Finally, the FP transmits, in one frame of such as 1 ms to 3 ms length, the same data packet on both of said first and second duplex RF bearer frequencies to the PP. This provides a roboust and low latency wireless interface suitable for Human Interface Devices and audio devices, e.g. for gaining equipment.

A system, method and computer-readable medium for allowing the use of an alternative numbering plan for delivering short messages to mobile subscribers using the public mobile telephone network is provided. Users of an enterprise or other closed networks as well as users that are not part of a closed network may send short messages destined to members of an enterprise or closed network from their mobile or other devices associated with their subscription using an alternative enterprise directory number, such as the office number, instead of the mobile number, such that the alternative number will be presented at the destination device as the originating number. The recipient may respond to the message by addressing the response to the enterprise or closed network number, and the response may be delivered to the originator's mobile or other device associated with their subscription.

A radio relay apparatus, which can monitor a status of a radio relay apparatus for realizing a three-dimensional network, without providing a dedicated line, is provided. The radio relay apparatus can fly and move in an upper airspace, and comprises a first antenna for transmitting and receiving a radio signal of a feeder link to and from a gateway station on a communication network side provided on the ground or on the sea, a second antenna for transmitting and receiving a radio signal of a service link to and from a terminal apparatus, a relay processing section for relaying the radio signal of the feeder link and the radio signal of the service link, which is provided between the first antenna and the second antenna, an information acquisition section for acquiring monitoring information on the status of the radio relay apparatus, and an information communication section for transmitting the monitoring information to the gateway station via the feeder link.

Incoming call signal reception means (11) receives an incoming call signal including a caller number, caller information, and ring type information. Image generation means (12) generates, based on the incoming call signal, a caller information image including at least a portion of the caller information as character information. Telephone dictionary registering means (13) registers the caller number, caller text information, and the caller information image in a telephone dictionary (14). Incoming call screen display means (15) displays an incoming call screen including the caller text information and the caller information image.

In one embodiment, a device receives a call from a caller that is initiated as a public switched telephone network (PSTN) call and directed to first contact information for a recipient's device. The call is forwarded using an unconditional call forwarding option to the device. The device retrieves second contact information for the recipient's user device. The second contact information is different from the first contact information used in the PSTN call. The device initiates a communication to the recipient's user device using the second contact information via a communication channel different from the PSTN. The communication avoids triggering the unconditional call forwarding option for the recipient's device. The device connects the call between the caller and the recipient's device upon initiating the communication. The device is in a call path of the call and performs a call feature for the call.
