THICK FILM PRINTED HEAT SPREADER FOR LOW THERMAL MASS HEATING SOLUTIONS
Methods and apparatus include a hair iron having a ceramic heater between first and second arms movable relative to each other between open and closed positions. The ceramic heater has resistive traces that heat up hair during use upon being connected to a power source. On a side of the ceramic heater opposite the resistive traces, a layer of metal is formed to spread out during use the heat from the resistive traces. The metal may be formed as a single or multiple layers. The composition of the metal can be, representatively, pure or alloys of silver, copper, or aluminum with platinum or palladium. The shape of the metal varies as does its coverage on a surface area of the ceramic heater.
Stretchable interconnects for flexible electronic surfaces
A conductive paste and method of manufacturing thereof. The conductive paste comprises conductive particles dispersed in an organic medium, the organic medium comprising: (a) a solvent; and (b) a binder comprising a polyester. The conductive paste typically comprises silver and may contain various other additives. A stretchable conductive layer can be formed by curing the conductive paste.
Scalable, printable, patterned sheet of high mobility graphene on flexible substrates
The present invention provides methods for fabricating graphene workpieces. The present invention also provides for products produced by the methods of the present invention and for apparatuses used to perform the methods of the present invention.
Reel-to-reel lamination methods and devices in FPC fabrication
A reel-to-reel lamination method to laminate a metal foil or circuitry pattern on the fly. The method includes applying a UV laminate or thermoset laminate to the metal foil or the circuitry pattern reel to reel, and then apply a UV radiation or heat to the laminate. There can be an optional enclosure connected to a suction source. The enclosure can have a flexible bladder that physically compresses the laminate.
Conductive transfer
A conductive transfer for application to an article comprises first and second non-conductive layers and a conductive layer positioned between the two non-conductive layers. The conductive transfer further comprises an adhesive layer for adhering the conductive transfer to an article, such as a wearable item. The conductive layer comprises a plurality of tessellated cells defined by a printed conductive ink. The conductive layer comprises a main element and an input track with the plurality of tessellated cells being comprised over the input track of said conductive layer.
Electroconductive paste
An electroconductive paste according to the present invention contains a binder (A), a silver powder (B), crosslinked resin particles (C) having a glass transition temperature of 35° C. or lower, and an organic solvent (D).
Apparatus and method of generating control parameter of screen printer
An apparatus, a recording medium, and a method for generating a control parameter of a screen printer are disclosed. The apparatus includes a memory that stores a simulation model configured to derive predictive inspection information on a printed state of solder paste based on a plurality of control parameters of the screen printer; a communication circuit configured to receive first inspection information on a plurality of solder pastes printed by the screen printer based on a first control parameter, and a processor electrically connected to the memory and the communication circuit. The processor obtains first predictive inspection information by applying the first control parameter to the simulation model, generates a plurality of candidate control parameters based on the first predictive inspection information, determines a plurality of second control parameters among the candidate control parameters, and transmits the plurality of second control parameters to the screen printer via the communication circuit.
Wiring board, electronic device, and electronic module
A wiring board includes an insulating substrate, at least one external electrode disposed on a first surface of the insulating substrate, and wiring that is disposed in the insulating substrate and that is electrically connected to the at least one external electrode. The wiring includes a portion where an extension direction of the wiring is inclined relative to the first surface of the insulating substrate.
METHOD FOR FORMING METAL PATTERN
The present invention relates to a method for forming a metal pattern on a pattern formation section set on a base material. In the present invention, a substrate provided with a fluorine-containing resin layer on a surface of the base material including the pattern formation section is used. The present inventive method for forming a metal pattern includes steps of: forming a functional group on the pattern formation section; and applying a metal ink including an amine compound and a fatty acid as protective agents to the base material surface to fix the metal particles on the pattern formation section. In the present invention, a fluorine-containing resin having a surface free energy measured by the Owens-Wendt method of 13 mN/m or more and 20 mN/m or less is applied as the fluorine-containing resin layer. Further, a metal ink including ethyl cellulose as an additive is applied as the metal ink.
Printing device
A printing device includes a coating material scooping unit configured to scoop a coating material on a mask, and a controller configured or programmed to determine whether or not the coating material scooping unit performs collecting operation to collect the coating material on the mask when the mask is replaced.
