Molded card guide chassis

A chassis to receive a line replaceable module including a molded body formed from a composite material, a card guide integrally formed in the molded body to receive the line replaceable module, the card guide including a card guide wall integrally formed in the molded body and extending outwardly from the molded body, and a plurality of tolerance features disposed within the card guide to retain the line replaceable module.

Pluggable card for intersystem connectivity

A rack within a datacenter or other environment can include a plurality of appliances arranged in the rack such that ports of the appliances are aligned vertically or in another direction. A cartridge can include an elongate rigid body along which connectors are arranged. The connectors may be engageable with the aligned ports of the appliances in response to translation of the cartridge toward the rack. The cartridge can include an electronics board within the elongate rigid body, and the electronics board can provide paths among subsets of the connectors, for example, such that subsets of the appliances are accordingly connected for transmission of data or other signals.

Integrated card rail and cooling module for embedded computing systems

A flow-through card rail module is provided in a circuit module chassis assembly for an embedded computing system. A set of elongated guide rails are formed on a base plate and define a card channel for receiving a circuit card. Each guide rail has a cooling passage extending from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet. A corrugated structure is formed on an opposite side of the base plate and includes a set of elongated cells. Each elongated cell has a cooling passage formed therein extending from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. Internal walls subdivide the cooling passages formed in the guide rails and the elongated cells to form a honeycomb structure. The flow-through card rail module including the base plate, the guide rails and the corrugated structure may be formed as a monolithic component.

ADJUSTABLE CARRIER WITH CHANGEABLE CORE AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLIES

A carrier assembly configured to facilitate manufacture of a printed circuit board assembly includes a bottom frame defining a generally rectangular configuration and having a length and a width. The bottom frame is adjustable to vary at least one of the length or the width thereof. The assembly further includes a core releasably positionable on the bottom frame and configured to support a circuit board thereon. A carrier assembly system includes the bottom frame and a plurality of cores. Methods of manufacturing printed circuit board assemblies utilizing carrier assemblies are also provided.
