NICOTINE POUCH PRODUCT
A nicotine pouched product is disclosed, the nicotine pouched product having a pouch composition and a pouch membrane enclosing the pouch composition, the pouch composition including at least one water-insoluble fiber, water in an amount of at least 15% by weight of the composition, and nicotine, wherein the pouch membrane comprises further nicotine in an amount of at least 15% by weight of a total content of nicotine in the pouched product.
ELECTROLYTIC GAS SUCTION TOOL
An electrolytic gas suction tool includes: a battery; a control substrate which controls power supply from the battery; a pair of positive and negative electrodes which are electrically conducted to or cut off from a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the battery by the control substrate; an electrolysis tank which is capable of storing water and into a lower part of which the pair of positive and negative electrodes are inserted in the mounted state; and a heater device which is heated to generate nicotine containing steam upon receiving the power supply from the battery by the control substrate.
TOBACCO EXTRACT, METHOD FOR PRODUCING TOBACCO EXTRACT, AND NON-COMBUSTION FLAVOR INHALER INCLUDING TOBACCO EXTRACT
An object of the present invention is to provide a tobacco extract that, when utilized for a non-combustion type flavor inhaler, does not generate insoluble particles in a liquid mixture or the like, and can thereby suppress scorching at a heat source section and also suppress a change in smoke flavor. The present invention provides a tobacco extract produced by subjecting all or a portion of a tobacco plant body to steam distillation to obtain a fraction, subjecting the fraction to solvent extraction with a suitable organic solvent, and removing the organic solvent.
METHODS AND MACHINES FOR MAKING ORAL PRODUCTS
A method of forming an oral product includes extruding a mixture, conveying the extruded mixture through one or more pairs of forming rollers, and cutting the extruded mixture into one or more oral products. The mixture can include polymer and at least one flavorant, sweetener, active ingredient, or combination thereof. The extruded mixture forms an extrudate having a predetermined cross-sectional shape. The one or more pairs of forming rollers abut to define a passage there between as each forming roller rotates. The passage has a cross-sectional shape corresponding to the predetermined cross-sectional shape. The method can be performed using a machine including an extruder, one or more pairs of forming rollers, and a cutting device.
FLAVORED VAPORIZABLE FORMULATION
There is provided a flavored vaporizable formulation comprising (i) one or more solvents; (ii) a flavor; and (iii) one or more cyclodextrins; wherein the flavored vaporizable formulation contains water in an amount of from 0 to 10 wt. % based on the vaporizable formulation.
IMPROVED METHOD OF PRODUCING A LIQUID TOBACCO EXTRACT
A method of producing a liquid tobacco extract is provided, the method including the steps of: preparing a tobacco material; heating the tobacco material in an extraction chamber at an extraction temperature of between 120 degrees Celsius and 160 degrees Celsius for at least 90 minutes; spraying atomised water into the extraction chamber during the heating step; collecting volatile compounds released from the tobacco material during the heating step; and forming a liquid tobacco extract comprising the collected volatile compounds. A liquid tobacco extract produced by the method is also provided.
METHOD FOR HYDROLYSIS OF LACTIC ACID FOR AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE
A method for preparing an aerosol precursor composition is provided, which includes the steps of providing a first aqueous solution comprising one or more organic acids in water; subjecting the first aqueous solution to hydrolysis to give a hydrolyzed aqueous solution with a higher organic acid monomer content on a dry weight basis than in the first aqueous solution; and combining the hydrolyzed aqueous solution with one or more aerosol formers to give an aerosol precursor composition. Typically, the aerosol precursor composition further contains nicotine. The disclosed method can lead to enhanced control over the composition and characteristics of the produced aerosol precursor composition.
Extraction method of flavor constituent and manufacturing method of composition element of favorite item
An extraction method of a flavor constituent comprises: a step A for heating a tobacco raw material which is subjected to an alkali treatment; and a step B for bringing a release component released in the gas phase in the step A into contact with a collection solvent at normal temperature until any time from when a first condition is satisfied to when a second condition is satisfied. The first condition is determined based on a residual rate of nicotine component. The second condition is determined based on a remaining amount of nicotine component.
Methods and machines for making oral products
A machine for forming a plurality of oral products includes an extruder, pairs of forming rollers, and a cutting device. The extruder is configured to form an extrudate. The pairs of forming rollers include a first pair of forming rollers and a second pair of forming rollers. The first pair of forming rollers cooperate to define a first passage therebetween. The first passage is configured to receive the extrudate from the extruder. The second pair of forming rollers cooperate to define a second passage therebetween. The second passage is configured to receive the extrudate from the first pair of forming rollers. The cutting device is configured to receive the extrudate from the first pair of forming rollers and cut the extrudate.
PRODUCT INFUSED WITH SMOKE
There is provided an aerosolizable product comprising an aerosol forming material, wherein the aerosol forming material is infused with smoke from tobacco. There is further provided an aerosolizable product comprising an aerosol forming material, wherein the aerosol forming material is selected from polyhydric alcohols (such as glycerol, propylene glycol and triethylene glycol), esters (such as triethyl citrate and triacetin), high boiling point hydrocarbons, non-polyols (such as glycols, sorbitol and lactic acid), and mixtures thereof; and wherein the aerosol forming material is infused with smoke from a plant material.
