An athletic glove is provided for an athlete participating in a sport or competition. The athletic glove includes specifically designed finger receptacles for enhanced stability and protection for the athlete's fingers and improved performance. A first finger receptacle encloses the little and ring fingers preventing them from moving relative to each other. A second finger receptacle encloses the index and middle finger thus preventing them from moving relative to each other.

The glove is open up to the distal phalanges of the fingers in order to preserve maximum contact with a handle, and has gripping material on the fingertips in order to optimise the gripping of the handle and prevent the glove from slipping around the fingers. An elastic part surrounds the wrist, with anti-slip properties on the side next to the skin for better hold. A part covers the entire back of the hand with stretchable material adapted to the temperature, double-fibre material allowing moisture to be transferred outwards and then absorbed. Elastic is provided at the base of the palm (opening side), allowing the hand to close more easily around the handle. The glove is intended, in particular, for any person needing to cover only the back of the hand.

The present application provides elastomeric articles that are able to deliver skin care properties to a person wearing or coming into contact with the article. The articles comprise an elastomeric film a plant stem cell material. The plant stem cell material may be in the form of a bilayer membrane-encapsulated plant stem cell material. The plant stem cell material may be present as a layer or coating on a surface of the elastomeric film. Also provided are methods for the production of the articles.

A safety glove having a protective member or insert extending around the fingertip of the safety glove is provided. The protective member may be positioned along the outer surface or the inner surface of the glove. Alternatively, the protective member may be integrally formed between two layers of glove material. The protective member terminates distally from an interphalangeal joint line to enable finger flexion in order to grasp an item, such as a slab of meat to be deskinned in a skinning machine. The glove may include a rough outer surface formed from thrice dipping the glove and allowing the glove to cure. Additionally, the glove may have a width near the wrist that is wider than the width near the palm to enable the glove to be rapidly removed (i.e., doffed) in an emergency event of the glove getting caught in a rotating blade on the skinning machine.
