METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING FACE PROTECTION MASKS
A method and an apparatus for manufacturing, in a continuous flow, face protection masks including a mask body and two U-shaped elastic thread portions, which are formed by bending respective elastic thread portions retained by a group of sectors including a fixed sector and two movable sectors rotatable with respect to the fixed sector.
SANITIZING FACE MASK
A sanitizing face mask inhibits the transmission of pathogens in air respired through the nose and mouth of a wearer. The mask includes hydrophobic inner and outer layers and an intermediate layer enclosed between them. The intermediate layer is saturated with a sanitizing liquid such as an ethanol solution. Respired air encounters the sanitizing liquid as it passes through the intermediate layer, killing pathogens borne on droplets or aerosols. The sanitizing mask protects the wearer, from pathogens in the inspired air, and others, from possible pathogens in the expired air of the wearer.
SEALING CUSHION FOR A PROTECTIVE FACE MASK
Most protective masks are not designed to follow individual facial contours and have a limited ability to adjust to various facial sizes and shapes. A sealing cushion for use with surgical face masks and the like has a pliant body with a tacky surface and a wire embedded within, which together create a frame-like structure having a central aperture. The wire encased within the body of the cushion allows the apparatus to be shaped and fitted to the contours of the face to create a substantially airtight seal between the face and the mask. The sealing cushion can prevent or reduce entry of airborne contaminants around the sides and edges of the mask.
Respiratory protection device and processes for producing the same
The present disclosure provides a respiratory protection device made of soft material comprising folds in zig-zag pattern on the main body and may be adhered to wearer's face by adhesives instead of straps. The respiratory protection device with folds is expandable from flat-fold configuration to open ready-to-use configuration, collapsible from the open ready-to-use configuration to the flat-fold configuration, and flexible to keep adhered to wearer's face when the respiratory protection device is dragged in conjunction with the movement of the wearer's face. The folding structures not only reduce the storage volume but also support the main body of the respiratory protection device to provide large air chamber for breathing comfortably in a completely sealed space. The present disclosure also provides a process of manufacturing the respiratory protection device by folding and fixing barrier layers and applying adhesives on the barrier layers.
MASK SUPPORT SYSTEM AND METHOD
An aftermarket device for attachment to a facial mask includes a strip, front fingers and back fingers. The front fingers fold over the strip for retaining an upper edge of a face mask. The strip is configurable to conform to a user's cheeks and around ridge of the user's nose for use. The back fingers are configurable to or otherwise extend along either side of the ridge of the user's nose when in use. The device conforms the facial mask to the user's face in vicinity of the upper edge of the mask, along the cheeks and the user's nose. The device lifts the facial mask from contact with at least a portion of the user's nose and from contact to the mouth.
Face mask and method for manufacturing thereof
The present application discloses a mask including a sheet, a first loop, a second loop and an elastic film. The sheet comprises a central portion, a first lateral portion, a second lateral portion and an opening. The first loop is coupled to the sheet. The second loop is coupled to the sheet. The elastic film is coupled to the sheet and covers the opening. A method of manufacturing the aforementioned face mask is also disclosed.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL PROTECTIVE MASK WITH SUCKING AND WHISTLING
A multifunctional protective mask with sucking and whistling includes a mask body, a slit and a fixing section. The mask body includes folded first wrinkle and second wrinkle, and a splicing section formed at the junction of the first wrinkle and the second wrinkle. The slit is located between the second wrinkle and the splicing section. The fixing section fixes the first wrinkle, the splicing section and the second wrinkle. Therefore, the present invention can provide the user with many functions such as the convenience of inhaling tea, coffee, beverages, nasogastric tube feeding or whistling while wearing. At the same time, the mask has good bacterial and virus filtration efficiency (PFE/BFE) and closeness. The invention can be automatically produced, has a short process time, has many advantages such as low cost, easy commercialization and mass production, and benefits the society.
NASAL MASK
A nasal mask comprises a panel of breathable filter material, the panel having a bottom edge and a top edge, a height between the bottom edge and the top edge being between approximately 40 and 80 mm. The panel is configured to cover a portion of the face extending from under a nasal bridge to an upper lip of a wearer, a shapeable strip connected to the panel at or adjacent to the bottom edge of the panel, the shapeable strip being configured to be applied against an upper lip with the bottom edge of the panel being above a mouth cavity of the wearer.
FACE PROTECTION MASK
Face protection mask comprising a flexible filtering screen shaped to cover the mouth and nose of the user. The mask incorporates an adhesive element projecting from the upper edge of the filtering screen and forming a flexible appendage configured to cover—in use—a substantial portion of the nose of the user, adhering thereto.
Mask Spacer Device
An insert for a face mask that is adapted to create an open area between the user's face and an inner side of the face mask.
