A personal protection suit has a selectively sealable hood (1) for protection against CBRN threats. In one series of embodiments, the hood (1) is separable from a jacket body (5) by a releasable attachment means (11), and has a mask hood seal (2) for sealing with a mask. In one series of embodiments the hood (1A) has a deployable face mask (60) stored within the hood (1A). The hood (1) can be removed without breaking the seal between the mask and mask hood seal (2) to minimise contamination during donning and doffing.

SURGICAL HELMET

Implementations described herein include surgical helmet assemblies that have a helmet enclosure shaped to encircle a head of a user. The helmet enclosure retains a fan and includes a brow bar portion at a front of the helmet enclosure that is shaped to extend along a brow or a forehead of the user and having a light positioned therein. The helmet enclosure also includes a stabilizer extending downward from the helmet enclosure in front of the ears of a user, a face shield that is transparent and coupleable to at least the brow bar portion, a headband shaped to extend across an occiput region of the user's head, and a surgical garment for covering at least the head and shoulders of a user in use. The brow bar portion includes vents disposed therein to direct airflow pushed through the helmet enclosure from the fan onto the user. The face shield is coupleable to the helmet enclosure by one or more of a hook and loop fastener on the helmet enclosure or the stabilizer and a post protruding from the brow bar portion.

The present application relates to a welding helmet comprising: a helmet housing; a headband structure for securing the helmet housing; a HUD-type auto-darkening filter secured in the helmet housing; and a light-permeable protective sheet installed in front of the HUD-type auto-darkening filter in the helmet housing, wherein the HUD-type auto-darkening filter comprises a head-up display which is used to reveal operating parameters of the auto-darkening filter, and the head-up display is arranged between a body of the auto-darkening filter and the protective sheet such that when the auto-darkening filter is in a transparent state the luminously revealed operating parameter of the auto-darkening filter can be imaged via the protective sheet into the eyes of an operator who wears the welding helmet.

The disclosure provides a protective visor applicable to multiple operation environments for dust prevention, anti-shock glasses, chemical defence and ray radiation protection. The protective visor comprises a headband (5), a face shield (1), protective goggles (6), a light shading screen (4), a light grid (8) and a housing (2), which are connected to each other. The light shading screen (4) and the light grid (8) constitute a light refraction and transmission device for refracting and transmitting the light, which includes a light aperture processed to have a curved surface and located at the front and upper end portion of the housing (2). The light aperture has a serrated lattice shutter structure, and the light shading screen (4) is disposed at the outer side of the light aperture. The protective visor can effectively prevent foreign splash, and absorb radiant heat and certain ultraviolet rays to protect an operator's face.
