A battery pack having at least one cell module that is connected between a plurality of pack terminals, the battery pack including: at least one thermoelectric element disposed at each of the at least one cell modules; a thermoelectric element power supply circuit configured to supply a driving voltage to the at least one thermoelectric element; and a controller configured to control the thermoelectric element power supply circuit to transfer a first voltage that is supplied for driving the thermoelectric element from a charger as the driving voltage for the at least one thermoelectric element when a temperature of the at least one cell module is out of a first range in a charging mode, the first voltage being different from a second voltage that is a charging voltage supplied to the battery pack from the charger.

A base station is disclosed for use with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The base station includes: an enclosure; a cradle that is configured to charge a power source of the UAV during docking with the base station; and a temperature control system that is connected to the cradle and which is configured to vary temperature of the power source of the UAV. The temperature control system includes: a thermoelectric conditioner (TEC); a first air circuit that is thermally connected to the TEC and which is configured to regulate temperature of the TEC; and a second air circuit that is thermally connected to the TEC such that the TEC is located between the first air circuit and the second air circuit. The second air circuit is configured to direct air across the cradle to thereby heat or cool the power source of the UAV when docked with the base station.
Base Stations Including Integrated Systems For Servicing UAVs
A base station is disclosed for use with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The base station includes: an enclosure; a cradle that is configured to charge a power source of the UAV during docking with the base station; and a temperature control system that is connected to the cradle and which is configured to vary temperature of the power source of the UAV. The temperature control system includes: a thermoelectric conditioner (TEC); a first air circuit that is thermally connected to the TEC and which is configured to regulate temperature of the TEC; and a second air circuit that is thermally connected to the TEC such that the TEC is located between the first air circuit and the second air circuit. The second air circuit is configured to direct air across the cradle to thereby heat or cool the power source of the UAV when docked with the base station.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is disclosed that includes a power source. The power source includes: one or more power cells; one or more thermal transfer members that are thermally connected to the one or more power cells; and a heat exchanger that is thermally connected to the one or more thermal transfer members such that the one or more thermal transfer members and the heat exchanger facilitate a transfer of thermal energy between the power source and ambient air to decrease or increase temperature of the power source.
Temperature regulating system of in-vehicle battery
A temperature regulating system of an in-vehicle battery is disclosed in the present disclosure. The system includes: a heat exchanger; an in-vehicle air conditioner, where the in-vehicle air conditioner is provided with an air conditioner vent, a first air duct is formed between the air conditioner vent and the heat exchanger, a semiconductor heat exchange module, where a second air duct is formed between a cooling end of the semiconductor heat exchange module and the first fan, and a third air duct is formed between the cooling end of the semiconductor heat exchange module and a compartment; a battery thermal management module, where the battery thermal management module is connected to the heat exchanger to form a heat exchange flow path; and a controller, connected to the semiconductor heat exchange module, the battery thermal management module, and the in-vehicle air conditioner.
