Secondary battery
A secondary battery includes a case composed of a metal containing aluminum as a main component, a stacked electrode assembly arranged in the case, a negative electrode current collector electrically connecting negative electrodes of the stacked electrode assembly to a negative electrode terminal, a positive electrode current collector electrically connecting positive electrodes of the stacked electrode assembly to a positive electrode terminal, a first metal plate arranged between the case and the stacked electrode assembly, and a spacer arranged between the case and the first metal plate, the spacer being composed of an insulating material. The positive electrodes are electrically connected to the case or a second metal plate arranged on the first metal plate with an insulating member provided between the first metal plate and the insulating member. The negative electrode current collector is in contact with the first metal plate to establish electrical connection between the negative electrode current collector and the first metal plate.

ELECTRICAL FEEDTHROUGH GLASS-METAL ELECTRODES
An electrical device, having a feedthrough through a housing part which has a material thickness T of the housing of the device and is made of metal. The metal being iron, iron alloys, iron-nickel alloys, iron-nickel-cobalt alloys, KOVAR, steel, high-grade steel, aluminum, aluminum alloys, AlSiC, magnesium, magnesium alloys, titanium or titanium alloys. The housing part having at least one opening, wherein the opening receives a contact element, being a conductor consisting of a conductive material in a glass or glass ceramic material. The housing part has a collar in the region of the opening and thus forms an inner wall of the feedthrough opening having a height H, which is greater than material thickness T, wherein glazing length EL of the glass or glass ceramic material preferably corresponds to height H.
Battery assembly and electronic cigarette having same
A battery assembly and an electronic cigarette using the battery assembly are provided. The battery assembly comprises a main body and a rear cover fixedly installed to the main body. One end of the main body is provided with a connecting portion fixedly electrically connected to an external load, and the other end thereof is provided with an inner cavity for accommodating an electronic component. The rear cover is fixedly installed to the main body and covers the inner cavity. One end of the main body far from the connecting portion is provided with an extension toward the rear cover, and the extension covers the end of the rear cover far from the connecting portion, effectively preventing the phenomenon that a housing far from the end of a suction port is damaged by impact when the electronic cigarette is dropped.

IMPACT PROTECTION SHROUDS FOR PROTECTING BATTERY PACK COMPONENTS
This disclosure details exemplary battery pack designs for use in electrified vehicles. An exemplary battery pack may include an enclosure assembly that houses one or more battery arrays. An impact protection shroud is mounted to a portion of at least one of the battery arrays. A battery sensitive component is at least partially covered by the impact protection shroud. The impact protection shroud is configured to establish minimum clearances relative the battery sensitive component and to redirect loads away from the battery sensitive component, thereby protecting the battery sensitive component during vehicle impact loading events.
Secondary battery and method for manufacturing the same
A secondary battery is disclosed. According to the present invention, when an internal pressure exceeding a certain level occurs, current may be interrupted to stop an operation of the secondary battery, thereby preventing the secondary battery from being ignited or exploded by the increase in internal pressure of the secondary battery and improving safety of the secondary battery.
Battery with a buffer layer adhered to separators
