CONDUCTOR TERMINAL

A conductor terminal with a busbar piece and a clamping spring. The clamping spring has a clamping limb which is oriented towards the busbar piece in order to form a clamping point for clamping an electric conductor between the clamping limb and the bus bar piece, a spring bracket which adjoins the clamping limb, and a contact limb, a vertical section of which extends transversely to the bus bar piece. The vertical section of the contact limb has a recess with edges which surround the bus bar piece. The bus bar piece has a contact wall which adjoins the wall surface of the contact limb vertical section extending transversely to the busbar piece. The wall surface lying on the vertical section side facing away from the clamping limb, and which is designed to support the vertical section of the contact limb on the contact wall by means of the wall surface facing away from the clamping limb.

A terminal block having a terminal housing, at least two electrically conductive contact elements, at least two conductor connection elements for connecting electric conductors, and at least one separating element arranged movably in the terminal housing, the separating element having a longitudinal axis and the two electrically conductive contact elements being connected in a first position of the separating element and disconnected in a second position of the separating element. A reduction of the space requirement for the separation point between the contact elements and the separating element during simple operation of the separating element is achieved by the contact elements being arranged consecutively in the longitudinal direction of the separating element; the separating element is arranged in the terminal housing to be movable in the longitudinal direction; and the movement direction of the separating element is different from the direction of the longitudinal extension of the terminal block.

Patchboard

A patchboard having a plurality of socket blocks (2), each of which has a box-like housing (3) with two end faces (4a, 4b) and four side faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) which extend between the end faces (4a, 4b), the two end faces (4a, 4b) of the socket blocks (2) having at least one connection region (6). An increased degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to individual user requests is achieved due to each of at least two side faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) of the socket blocks (2) having at least one latching element for connection to another socket block (2), and by at least one termination element (11) being arranged on at least one side of the patchboard (1), the termination element (11) having a mating latching element on at least one side face (12, 12b) for connecting the termination element to an adjacent socket block (2).

Selectively installable and removable auxiliary wiring device for I/O module

A modular I/O device includes a terminal base with a terminal block that includes a plurality of wiring connectors. An auxiliary wiring device includes a plurality of auxiliary wiring connectors and is selectively physically connectable to the terminal base in an operative position and selectively physically removable from the terminal base. The terminal block includes a receiver and the auxiliary wiring device includes a body including at least one mounting tab that projects outwardly from the body and that is located in the receiver. The receiver includes a projecting lip about which the auxiliary wiring device is pivotable relative to the receiver on a pivot axis. The terminal base includes at least one catch and the auxiliary wiring device further includes at least one latch arm that is adapted to engage the catch when the auxiliary wiring device is physically connected to said terminal base in its operative position.
