RUBBER PLUG UNIT AND CONNECTOR
A rubber plug unit (10, 10A, 10B) is provided with a terminal (13, 13A, 14, 14A), a wire (11) and a rubber plug (12, 12A, 12B) to be held in close contact with the outer periphery of the wire (11). The wire (11) includes an electrically conductive portion (22) to be connected to the terminal (13, 13A, 14, 14A). The rubber plug (12, 12A, 12B) includes a holding portion (17) to be sandwiched between the terminal (13, 13A, 14, 14A) and the wire (11). The electrically conductive portion (22) and the holding portion (17) are arranged to overlap in an axial direction (X) of the wire (11).
Nut seal connector assembly
An assembly for a coaxial connector is described. The assembly, in one embodiment, includes a coupler, a grip ring and a seal member.
Connector used in underwater environments
A connector used in underwater environments includes a male connector with a sensing terminal and two power terminals, a female connector with a sensing terminal block and two power terminal blocks, and an elastic gasket set between the male connector and the female connector. When the male connector and the female connector are plugged into each other, and the male and female connectors squeeze the elastic gasket to form a large amount of deformation, the sensing terminal and the sensing terminal block are in contact with each other. When the male and female connectors squeeze the elastic gasket to form a small deformation state, the sensing terminal and the sensing terminal block are separated from each other, and the power terminals and the power terminal blocks are in contact with each other, thereby forming a waterproof protection mechanism.
Cable adaptor
An adaptor is provided for connecting an electrical cable with an electrical connector. The adaptor includes a housing and an insert which are coaxially arranged and connected for free rotation relative to each other. The outer surface of the insert contains an annular recess and at least one pin is arranged on an inner surface of the housing. When a portion of the insert including the recess is arranged within a portion of the housing, the pin is inserted into the recess to connect the insert with the housing while permitting rotation therebetween. The free rotation prevent torque from being transmitted to an electrical cable connected with the insert.
SEAL FOR ELECTRICAL AND PRESSURE ISOLATION
A seal for use within a hydrocarbon environment including a core and a shell that is coupled to the core. The core includes an elastomeric core material with a first modulus. The shell includes a shell material with a second modulus that is lesser than the first modulus. The core and the shell can be positioned to generate a pressure and electrical seal at a sealing interface.
NUT SEAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An assembly for a coaxial connector is described. The assembly, in one embodiment, includes a coupler, a grip ring and a seal.
Electrical connection for a hermetic terminal for an active implantable medical device utilizing a ferrule pocket
A feedthrough for an AIMD is described. The feedthrough includes an electrically conductive ferrule having a ferrule sidewall defining a ferrule opening. The ferrule sidewall has a height. At least one recessed pocket has a depth extending part-way through the height of the ferrule. An oxide-resistant pocket-pad is nested in the recessed pocket. An electrical connection material is supported on the pocket-pad for making an oxide-resistant electrical connection to the ferrule. An insulator is hermetically sealed to the ferrule in the ferrule opening. At least one active via hole extends through the insulator with an active conductive pathway residing in and hermetically sealed to the insulator in the active via hole.
Water-proof connection between a USB 3.0 type C connector and transmission cable
A water-proof connection device and a transmission cable assembly thereof are provided. The transmission cable assembly includes a connector being USB 3.0 type C, a transmission cable, a molding holder, an insulating sleeve, and an adhesive layer. The connector has an external end portion and an opposite internal end portion. The transmission cable includes a plurality of wires connected to the internal end portion. The molding holder includes a partition portion and a pillar portion that extends from the partition portion, and connection parts of the internal end portion and the wires are embedded in the pillar portion. The insulating sleeve surrounds a part of the pillar portion and a part of the transmission cable that are arranged adjacent to each other. The adhesive layer is formed on an inner surface of the insulating sleeve, and extends outside two opposite ends of the insulating sleeve.
Weather protecting (WP) boot for coaxial cable connectors
A weather protection system for a coaxial cable connector comprising: (i) an over-mold cap disposed over a prepared end of a coaxial cable, (ii) a compliant Weather Protecting (WP) boot circumscribing the over-mold cap, and a mating interface disposed between an outer surface of the over-mold cap and an inner surface of the compliant WP boot. The mating interface is configured to provide tactile feedback to an assembler/technician when assembling the WP boot in combination with the over-mold cap.
ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR
An electric compressor includes an inverter, a housing with an opening, an inverter connector, a power connector, and a cable that electrically connects both connectors. The housing accommodates the inverter. The inverter connector includes a cover, an outer sealing member, and an inner sealing member. The cover includes an insertion hole through which the cable is inserted, and is disposed in the opening so as to position the cable in the opening. The outer sealing member is interposed between the opening and the cover. The inner sealing member is interposed between the insertion hole and the cable. The insertion hole includes a restriction portion that restricts a movement of the cable, and a fitting portion that is located closer to the inverter than the restriction portion and in which the inner sealing member is fitted. The insertion hole is narrower at the restriction portion than at the fitting portion.
