20220263277 · 2022-08-18 ·

A coupling device is provided having a first connector with a first primary pin and a second primary pin. The coupling device also defines a first recess and a second recess. The first recess is configured to receive a first component selected from the group consisting of a fuse or a jumper, and the second recess is configured to receive a second component selected from the group consisting of a fuse or a jumper. The first recess is closed when the first component is received in the first recess. When the first recess is closed, the first component forms part of a first electrical circuit with the first primary pin. Additionally, the second recess is closed when the second component is received in the second recess. When the second recess is closed, the second component forms part of a second electrical circuit with the second primary pin.

High pressure electrical connector cable for oil and gas applications

Downhole connection assemblies include a connector to receive a conductor and pin at opposite ends. The connector includes a first electrical collet, a separate second electrical collet and a sleeve. The first collet includes a first recess in a first end to receive the conductor and a second recess in a second end to receive the pin. The second collet is positioned around the pin and separated from the first collet. The sleeve is positioned around the pin, first collet and the second collet. Downhole cables include a center electrical conductor, a first insulator positioned around the center conductor, a second insulator positioned around the first insulator, and a pressure tube surrounding the second insulator. The cable further includes one or more slots extending axially along a length of the second insulator, or one or more slots extending axially along an inner diameter of the pressure tube.

Camlock electrical connector

A camlock electrical connector has a first connector member with a bottom platform having an opening and an upstanding wall. Pin elements extend outwardly from the wall and a cable connector extends outwardly from and externally of the wall. A second connector member has a connector body with a fulcrum peg extending downwardly from the body. The peg is inserted into the opening in the platform, such that the second connector member is rotatable in relation to the first connector member. When electrical wiring is positioned between the wall of the first connector and the body of the second connector member, rotation of the second connection member and its peg in relation to the first connection member causes the pin elements to pierce the electrical wiring, thereby securing the wiring to the electrical connector.

A seal for an electrical plug connector includes a passage opening receiving a contact element, a contact sealing section extending along the passage opening in a sleeve-shaped manner, and a creepage distance increase section disposed opposite the contact sealing section. The creepage distance increase section continues the passage opening in a tubular manner and/or extends away from the passage opening in a plate-shaped manner.

Dynamic contact and fiber optic termini cavity to wire removable seals

Termini assemblies of electrical cable connector assemblies and methods of formation include a termini housing configured to receive an electrical cable and a dynamic seal assembly disposed in the termini housing and including a first portion having an O-ring seal configuration and configured to seal the termini assembly up to a pressure threshold and a second portion having a cup seal configuration and configured to seal the termini assembly at pressures greater than the pressure threshold. Methods of installing the electrical cable connector assemblies include installing the electrical cable connector assembly in a low or high pressure application, wherein installation in the low pressure application results in at least one of the first and second portions of the dynamic seal assembly sealing the termini assembly, and wherein installation in the high pressure application results in the second portion of the dynamic seal assembly sealing the termini assembly.

A coupling device is provided. The coupling device comprises a first connector with one or more primary pins and one or more drawers. The one or more drawers are configured to receive at least one of a fuse or a jumper. The one or more drawers are configured to be opened to permit the fuse or the jumper to be added or removed. The coupling device defines one or more recesses, and the one or more drawers are configured to be inserted into a recess of the one or more recesses to place the drawer in a closed state. In the closed state, the fuse or the jumper form part of an electrical circuit.

SEALING MEMBER AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING SAME

A sealing member is attached to a connector opening of an electronic device to seal between an insulating cover of a cable inserted in the connector opening and a main body of the electronic device. The sealing member includes a housing made of an elastic material. The housing includes a first opening, a second opening facing the first opening and located to an inside of the electronic device than the first opening, and an inclined surface having a tapered shape that is tapered inward from the first opening to the second opening. The housing includes a first cylindrical portion forming the inclined surface inside the first cylindrical portion, a second cylindrical portion provided outside the first cylindrical portion, and a gap formed between the first cylindrical portion and the second cylindrical portion. The first cylindrical portion and the second cylindrical portion are connected to each other around the first opening.
