INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER PROGRAM
An information processing device is an information processing device serving as a member device that constitutes a network system, including: a detection unit that performs autonomous inquiry to the connected network system and detects another member device that together forms the network system; and a list management unit that, when the another member device is detected by the detection unit, updates a list indicating member devices of the network system that are newly registered in the network system via the another member device.
Layer 7 health check automated execution framework
A method, computer readable medium, and computer network are provided for performing a synchronization operation. The method may comprise retrieving a list of network addresses of all standby servers in a standby server pool. The method may further include, using the list of network addresses, sending a health check query to each standby server in the standby server pool, and receiving response messages from the standby servers in the standby server pool. A positive response may indicate that the standby server is active in the standby server pool, and a negative response may indicate that the standby server is inactive in the standby server pool. The method may include, when any standby server returns the positive response, sending a message to an administrator. The method may further include, when every standby server returns the negative response, initiating a synchronization operation on a standby database connected to the standby servers.
INTENT-BASED, NETWORK-AWARE NETWORK DEVICE SOFTWARE-UPGRADE SCHEDULING
A controller device manages a plurality of network devices. The controller device includes one or more processing units configured to receive an upgrade request; obtain a redundancy model indicating network device redundancies or service redundancies; determine, based on the upgrade request and the redundancy model, an update graph having nodes each representing one of the network devices or one of the services, the update graph also having at least one edge that connects two of the nodes and that indicates the network redundancy or the service redundancy; determine, based on the update graph including the at least one edge, an update schedule for performing an update of software for the network devices that ensures availability for the first network device or second network device or availability for the service; and update the software of each of the network devices according to the update schedule.
Dynamic generated web UI for configuration
A computer-based system comprising a library module associated with an application, the library module using stored configuration data and configuration metadata for the application and a configurator to generate a web user interface using the configuration metadata. The web user interface allowing a user to input configuration information for the application.
System and method for alert insight in configuration management databases (CMDBs)
A method of managing alerts in a client instance associated with a configuration management database (CMDB) platform is disclosed. The method includes: receiving a request identifying a particular CI and a particular alert; identifying related CIs from a plurality of CIs associated with the client instance based on the particular CI and the particular alert; identifying alerts, incidents (INTs), changes (CHGs), and problems (PRBs) of the client instance that are associated with either the particular CI or the related CIs; determining frequency data for the alerts, INTs, CHGs, and PRBs associated with the particular CIs and frequency data for the alerts, INTs, CHGs, and PRBs associated with the related CIs; and sending a response that includes the frequency data for the alerts, INTs, CHGs, and PRBs associated with the particular CIs to be presented alongside the frequency data for the alerts, INTs, CHGs, PRBs associated with the related CIs.
Systems and methods for providing user preferences for a connected device
An information wallet system includes an information wallet account associated with a user of the system, and a server having a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to receive user information from a user computing device, wherein the user information is related to a user of the information wallet account, determine, based on the user information, one or more user settings preferences related to a second computing device, receive an information request, wherein the information request includes a request to send the one or more user settings preferences to the second computing device, and to send the one or more user settings preferences to the second computing device, wherein the one or more user settings preferences are useable by the second computing device to adjust one or more settings of the second computing device.
Communication system, communication device, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions for information processing device
A communication system may comprise an information processing device and a communication device. Communication between the communication device and the information processing device using the first wireless communication scheme may be performed. The communication device may send the connectable network identification information to the information processing device. Communication between the information processing device and the communication device using the second wireless communication scheme and using the second network may be executed, in case that the first network is not included in one or more networks identified by the connectable network identification information. Communication between the information processing device and the communication device using the second wireless communication scheme and using the first network may be executed, in case that the first network is included in the one or more networks identified by the one or more connectable network identification information.
Network topology backup
A method is described that determines that a replacement node device has been connected to a mesh network, the replacement node device corresponding to an original node that has been removed from the mesh network. In response to determining that the replacement node device has been connected to the mesh network, network topology data is accessed that specifies one or more data routing configurations that are each associated with a node device included in the mesh network. From among the one or more data routing configurations specified by the network topology data, a particular data routing configuration is identified that is associated with the original node device that has been removed from the mesh network. Data that specifies the particular data routing configuration that is associated with the original node device that has been removed from the mesh network is provided to the replacement node device.
Transactional distribution of modelled configuration from a centralized server to a plurality of subsidiary devices
Techniques are provided for facilitating network devices to obtain configuration updates from a central configuration repository. Configuration update information is received regarding a configuration update in a configuration repository. A data tree is updated based on the configuration update information. An identifier unique to the update is generated. A determination is performed that network device properties of a network device correspond to a set of network device properties indicated for the configuration update information. A notification indicating the availability of the configuration update is sent over one or more networks to the network device.
IDENTIFYING OUT-OF-BAND CONFIGURATION CHANGES TO VALIDATE INTENT FILES
A controller device manages a plurality of network devices. The controller device includes a memory comprising a configuration database including a set of stored network device configurations, wherein each stored network device configuration of the set of stored network device configurations corresponds to a network device of the set of network devices. Additionally, the controller device includes processing circuitry configured to receive an intent file corresponding to an intended configuration for the set of network devices; receive a message from a network device of the set of network devices indicating an out-of-band configuration change at the network device; and determine, based on a stored network device configuration corresponding to the network device and an actual configuration of the network device, whether the intent file is compatible with the out-of-band configuration change.
