Media presentation device with voice command feature
A media presentation device determines a voice command associated with media content presented by the media presentation device. The media presentation device then listens for and detects utterance of the determined voice command during presentation of the media content, and the media presentation device responds to the detected utterance by performing an action that facilitates user purchase of the good or service associated with the media content segment.

Systems and methods for identifying and correlating an advertised object with a plurality of interconnected computing devices embedded in a living environment of the user. For example, a media guidance application implemented at a set-top box with a television may receive a signal from a printer indicating that cartridge ink is low. When the user is watching a television show and an advertisement relating to printer cartridges is being played, the media guidance application may identify that the advertised printer cartridges may be something that the user needs, and may then send a notification to a user of the advertisement. In this way, the media guidance application correlates advertisements from a media asset with a user's actual needs, which may improve the advertisement conversion rate for advertisers.

Techniques described herein are directed to integration of platforms for multi-platform content access. In an example, a user may request access to access-restricted content. A payment application on the user device that requested access may communicate with an associated payment service to automatically pay for the access without requiring additional user input, or may request the user to confirm that the payment is desired. This may be performed across content provider platforms and in a way that allows subsequent access to the content regardless of the platform used to request the content.

Purchasable item actions associated with digital media are disclosed. Digital media associated with a digital media provider is presented at a user device. Trigger data associated with the digital media is presented. In response to a command to activate the trigger data, an actionable indication is displayed of at least one purchasable item associated with the digital media. In response to a selection of the actionable indication of the at least one purchasable item associated with the digital media, an action is performed associated with the at least one purchasable item. The action can include adding the at least one purchasable item to a shopping cart or a wish list.
CONTENT STREAMING AND PRODUCT INTEGRATION
During steaming of media selection to a user device, products are identified within scenes of the selection for selection by a user. A selected product returns a Unique Identification Number (UIN). Retailers offering the selected product are identified and prices offered for the product obtained based on the UIN. A sorted list of the retailers and prices are returned to the user during media selection play on the user device. A selected retailer by the user made during media selection play on the user device initiates a transaction with that retailer for purchase of the product by the user. In an embodiment, audit data for selected products and purchased products are maintained; metrics generated for the audit data, and specific targeted products by user or by media selection are identified for highlighting during media selection playing by the users.
