METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING RADAR SIGNAL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THEREFOR
A method of transmitting and receiving a radar signal is disclosed. The method includes: receiving a first chirp signal output by a second radar sensor located outside an electronic device, wherein the receiving is performed by a first radar sensor of the electronic device, changing an operation mode of the first radar sensor from a detection mode to a reception mode, based on the received first chirp signal, receiving a second chirp signal generated by the second radar sensor, through a receiver of the first radar sensor, according to the change to the reception mode, and obtaining information about at least one object located within a specified proximity of the electronic device, based on the received second chirp signal. The second chirp signal is generated based on the first chirp signal and a first response signal corresponding to the first chirp signal.
Integrated cockpit sensing system
In one embodiment, a system includes, but is not limited to, an aviation head-mounted communication device including at least: a speaker, a physiological sensor configured to obtain physiological data, and a wireless communication interface; and a smartphone, a smartwatch, or tablet device wirelessly linked to the wireless communication interface and configured to receive the physiological data and output the physiological data on a display.
Creative intent scalability via physiological monitoring
Creative intent input describing emotion expectations and narrative information relating to media content is received. Expected physiologically observable states relating to the media content are generated based on the creative intent input. An audiovisual content signal with the media content and media metadata comprising the physiologically observable states is provided to a playback apparatus. The audiovisual content signal causes the playback device to use physiological monitoring signals to determine, with respect to a viewer, assessed physiologically observable states relating to the media content and generate, based on the expected physiologically observable states and the assessed physiologically observable states, modified media content to be rendered to the viewer.
Systems and methods for dynamic scheduling
Disclosed herein a system, a method and a device for dynamic scheduling between a head wearable display and a console is provided. The head wearable display can initiate, at a first time instance, a first downlink transmission to the console. The head wearable display can dynamically indicate, to the console, an end of the first downlink transmission, at a second time instance when transfer of data of the first downlink transmission is complete. The head wearable display can dynamically cause, relative to the second time instance, the console to begin an uplink transmission. The head wearable display can receive an indication to dynamically start a second downlink transmission, at a third time instance when transfer of data of the uplink transmission is complete.
Method for operating display apparatus, and display apparatus
A method for operating a display apparatus, the method including, detecting a first change in a first sensor signal from a first sensor, performing a first action in response to the detection of the first change, detecting changes in the first sensor signal in a first period that starts in response to the detection of the first change, maintaining the first action during the first period, and performing a second action after the first period if a second change in the first sensor signal last detected in the first period among the changes in the first sensor signal is different from the first change.
Deceptive indicia profile generation from communications interactions
Systems, methods, computer-readable storage mediums including computer-readable instructions and/or circuitry for generating deceptive indicia profiles may implement operations including, but not limited to: detecting one or more indicia of deception associated with one or more signals associated with communication content provided by a participant in a first communications interaction; detecting one or more indicia of deception associated with one or more signals associated with communications content provided by the participant in a second communications interaction; generating a deceptive indicia profile for the participant according to indicia of deception detected in the communications content provided by the participant in the first communications interaction and indicia of deception detected in the communications content provided by the participant in the second communications interaction; and providing a notification associated with the deceptive indicia profile for the participant to the participant.
CUSTOMIZED 360-DEGREE MEDIA VIEWING
Systems and methods are disclosed including techniques for rendering a 360-degree media content. Techniques disclosed include receiving a 360-degree media content and associated metadata that include a classification of a first spatial region from the received content. Techniques disclosed further include determining that a detected user movement is associated with a rendering of the first spatial region and determining whether the classification associated with the first spatial region complies with a stored user preference. If the classification violates the user preference, a path for gradually shifting the content rendering from a currently rendered spatial region to a spatial region that complies with the user preference is determined, and the received content is rendered according to the determined path.
USER DETECTION BY A COMPUTING DEVICE
In some embodiments, an electronic device optionally identifies a person's face, and optionally performs an action in accordance with the identification. In some embodiments, an electronic device optionally determines a gaze location in a user interface, and optionally performs an action in accordance with the determination. In some embodiments, an electronic device optionally designates a user as being present at a sound-playback device in accordance with a determination that sound-detection criteria and verification criteria have been satisfied. In some embodiments, an electronic device optionally determines whether a person is further or closer than a threshold distance from a display device, and optionally provides a first or second user interface for display on the display device in accordance with the determination. In some embodiments, an electronic device optionally modifies the playing of media content in accordance with a determination that one or more presence criteria are not satisfied.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPLAYING MULTIPLE MEDIA ASSETS FOR A PLURALITY OF USERS
Systems and methods for delivering multiple media assets for a plurality of users are disclosed herein. A plurality of users proximate to a display device may detected and split into groups based on preference for a specific media asset. Media assets may be generated on a display device in a layout based on the number of users in each group. When a new user enters the proximity of the display device the group membership may be recalculated and based on the new group memberships the display layout may be updated.
EMOTIONAL/COGNITIVE STATE PRESENTATION
Emotional/cognitive state presentation is described. When two or more users, each using a device configured to present emotional/cognitive state data, are in proximity to one another, each device communicates an emotional/cognitive state of the user of the device to another device. Upon receiving data indicating an emotional/cognitive state of another user, an indication of the emotional/cognitive state of the user is presented.
