System and methods for broadcasting and recording live shopping broadcasts. A broadcast stream from a presenter (e.g., influencer) is received and distributed to viewers (e.g., shoppers). Additionally, a start identifier for a product is received from the presenter during the broadcast stream, product details for the product are distributed to the viewers upon receipt of the start identifier for the product, and an end identifier for the product is received from the presenter during the broadcast stream. The broadcast stream is recorded, and portions of the broadcast stream are associated with the product corresponding to a time period between the start identifier and the end identifier to generate a product broadcast file (e.g., for display and presentation) along with the product in an online marketplace.

Systems and methods generating interactive videos on an automated platform are provided herein. The example methods can include receiving data associated with at least one physical item and receiving video content comprising a visual presentation of the physical item. The method can include receiving a selection of a predetermined template, in which the template comprising a plurality of modules organized in a tree structure. The method can further include organizing the video content into the predetermined template to form organized video content, and embedding an object in a portion of the organized video content to form an interactive video, in which the object is based on the received data and is configured to enable at least one of: (i) user interaction with the physical item; or (ii) a link to a webpage associated with the physical item.

The present invention is a method and system for generation and playback of supplemented videos which include interactive features. The supplemented video includes hotspots that allow a video viewer to interact with the video when the video viewer sees an object. The hotspots can be manually defined. Information regarding the object and the hotspot can be stored in a separate XML file. Furthermore, the present invention can be a marketplace where a desired object can be found by searching the XML file. The search results can list the supplemented videos which contain hotspots corresponding to the object and also the time in the supplemented video in which the object is found. The present invention can also aggregate data about the objects based on the playback of the supplemented videos and the video viewer's interaction with the supplemented videos.

The present disclosure provides user interface methods of and systems for displaying at least one available action overlaid on an image, comprising displaying an image; selecting at least one action and assigning a ranking weight thereto based on at least one of (1) image content, (2) current device location, (3) location at which the image was taken, (4) date of capturing the image; (5) time of capturing the image; and (6) a user preference signature representing prior actions chosen by a user and content preferences learned about the user; and ranking the at least one action based on its assigned ranking weight.

The present invention provides a media player configurable to provide the user with a seamless way of conducting transactions from within a window of the media player itself. All intermediate steps relating to the required transaction are carried out by calling up relevant modules/applications from within the application libraries from within an e-commerce platform. In preferred embodiments, the media player is configured to retrieve an encoded media file from a server or other content delivery network (CDN). The media player is further configured to display predefined overlays to the user during playback of the media file in response to identifying cues encoded into the media file by the content owner. The content owner can upload the media files to a server or other CDN via a dashboard/user interface. The cues can be encoded with a plurality of fields to enable the desired functionality to be achieved.

A system and method facilitate digital marketing for sponsors of live television broadcasts. The system allows a user, using an application on a computing device while a piece of sponsored content is being broadcast, to express an interest in the broadcast piece of sponsored content and the interest of the user is communicated to a backend system that selects an endpoint destination associated with the broadcast piece of sponsored content wherein the endpoint destination is a pointer to further digital information about the broadcast piece of sponsored content. The system and method may periodically change the selected endpoint destination based on an event in the sponsored piece of content.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, transmitting a first request that includes a key, wherein the key identifies: a processing system that is a targeted recipient of an advertisement, a stream in which a primary content item is being provisioned to the processing system, and a service provider, based at least in part on the transmitting of the first request, obtaining information pertaining to an advertisement from a device of the service provider, and inserting the information within a portion of the stream corresponding to a break in the primary content item. A method of acquiring access rights to conditional access content. The method comprises receiving an access right on a first terminal through a first communication channel; storing said access right in said first terminal; sending a request for said conditional access content to a content provider, said request containing at least an identifier of an account to which said first terminal is associated, an identifier of the requested content and a piece of information concerning said access right; verifying, by said content provider, the authenticity of said access right using said piece of information concerning the access right; and when there has been a successful verification, marking said access right as used, and sending said conditional access content to at least one terminal linked to said account. The first terminal using near field communication technology (NFC) during at least one transfer of said access rights.
