COOKING DEVICE HAVING A COOKING VESSEL AND A CERAMIC HEATER
A cooking device according to one example embodiment includes a base having a top surface positioned to contact a cooking vessel configured to hold food during cooking. The base includes a heater having a ceramic substrate and an electrically resistive trace on an exterior surface of the ceramic substrate. The heater is positioned to supply heat generated by applying an electric current to the electrically resistive trace to the top surface of the base for heating the cooking vessel to heat food in the cooking vessel. In some embodiments, the electrically resistive trace includes an electrical resistor material thick film printed on the exterior surface of the ceramic substrate. In some embodiments, the electrically resistive trace is positioned on a top surface of the ceramic substrate that faces upward toward the top surface of the base.
Electronic cigarette, atomizer and heating assembly thereof
A heating assembly is used for an atomizer of an electronic cigarette. The heating assembly includes an adsorption member, and at least one heating element for generating heat after being electrified. The adsorption member comprises at least one surface defining at least one fixing groove therein, and the at least one heating element is disposed in the at least one fixing groove. The heating element is disposed in the fixing groove, so that an aerosol-generating substrate on the adsorption member can be more sufficiently coated on the heating element and dispersed to an outer surface of the heating element.

Provided is an image forming apparatus including a temperature sensing circuit to which a temperature sensing element is electrically connected, wherein a surface of a heater on a side where the temperature sensing element is provided is in contact with the inner surface of a film, a heating element is provided in a primary side circuit which is electrically connected to a commercial power supply, and the temperature sensing circuit is electrically insulated from both of the primary side circuit and a secondary side circuit which is electrically insulated from the primary side circuit.

A heater includes a plate-shaped part, one or more resistance heating element, a columnar part, and a plurality of relay conductors. The plate-shaped part has an insulation property and includes an upper surface on which a wafer is to be superimposed and a lower surface on an opposite side to the upper surface. The one or more resistance heating element is buried in the plate-shaped part. The columnar part has an insulation property and projects downward from the lower surface of the plate-shaped part. The plurality of relay conductors respectively include extension portions vertically extending inside the columnar part and are electrically connected to the one or more resistance heating elements.
Electronic smoking article comprising one or more microheaters
The present disclosure relates to an electronic smoking article that provides for improved aerosol delivery. Particularly, the article comprises one or more microheaters. In various embodiments, the microheaters provide for improved control of vaporization of an aerosol precursor composition and provide for reduced power requirements to achieve consistent aerosolization. The present disclosure further relates to methods of forming an aerosol in a smoking article.
THICK FILM PRINTED HEAT SPREADER FOR LOW THERMAL MASS HEATING SOLUTIONS
Methods and apparatus include a hair iron having a ceramic heater between first and second arms movable relative to each other between open and closed positions. The ceramic heater has resistive traces that heat up hair during use upon being connected to a power source. On a side of the ceramic heater opposite the resistive traces, a layer of metal is formed to spread out during use the heat from the resistive traces. The metal may be formed as a single or multiple layers. The composition of the metal can be, representatively, pure or alloys of silver, copper, or aluminum with platinum or palladium. The shape of the metal varies as does its coverage on a surface area of the ceramic heater.

The present disclosure discloses a transmission electron microscope in-situ chip and a preparation method thereof. The transmission electron microscope in-situ chip includes a transmission electron microscope high-resolution in-situ gas phase heating chip, a transmission electron microscope high-resolution in-situ liquid phase heating chip and a transmission electron microscope in-situ electrothermal coupling chip. The transmission electron microscope high-resolution in-situ gas phase heating chip and the transmission electron microscope high-resolution in-situ liquid phase heating chip are respectively suitable for gas samples and liquid samples, and the transmission electron microscope in-situ electrothermal coupling chip realizes the multi-functional embodiment of electrothermal coupling. The three transmission electron microscope in-situ chips have the advantages of high resolution and low sample drift rate.

A cartridge for an electronic cigarette is configured to thermically connect to a base part having at least one heating element. The cartridge includes: a liquid store including a liquid outlet; a vaporization chamber in communication with the liquid store via the liquid outlet; a sorption member in the vaporization chamber for absorbing liquid transferred to the vaporization chamber via the liquid outlet; and a heat transfer unit configured, when the cartridge is thermically connected to the base part, to transfer heat from the heating element to the sorption member to vaporize liquid absorbed by the sorption member. The sorption member and the heat transfer unit are only in partial contact in contact zones.
